I'm not a person who enjoys rap but was married to a rock drummer for years. And what strikes me is the reason he's so good at rap is his grasp of rhythm and beat. When he double-times it really shows his grasp of timing. I'm also a musician and vocalist so please excuse me if I'm being too technical. I just wanted to say that as a musician who was married to a professional drummer for years, this guy is great and his ability to rap is enhanced by his experience as a drummer.

I like how my man @Nerdork picked up on the reason that Harry's 2nd rap in this video was much tamer and laid back. You're 100% correct. It wasn't just that she was chill. She seemed like a really shy person and usually, that personality will run the opposite direction, or at least want to, when someone comes at them all "Type A". He would have just terrified his audience and that ain't what Harry's about. Plus I think she was being extra chill so as to not make any sudden movements that would scare her Noodle. Harry is so considerate, so he's always paying attention and I'm sure he spotted that whole dynamic in a second. He matched her energy perfectly. By the way, as you keep watching, you'll see that there are times when he raps for someone whose native language not only is not English, but their English skills are very basic as well. Harry will on purpose go a little slower, choose more obvious words, and pronounce everything really well. He wants to make sure that the listener really gets rewarded with a great experience. Some rappers have good bars, but they can get dull if they don't match well with the beat. - dude has 3000 flows and has a perfect metronome inside the brain. this basically guarantees the attention from the listener. - when he is doing freestyle, he not only uses the words just to mention for the sake of the challenge. He is using them more than once with different rhymes. He uses them with meaning. - double entendre. this is even hard to come up when you write down stuff. but doing this on the fly is one of the most impressive things. - structure. you can see that there is a structure with his bars. he is telling a story. - he can incorporates the stuffs he can sees just cuz he can. when he can get some cues and connects with the audience that is basically a new fan on the spot. - types of rhymes. he is using so many types of rhymes and not just the basic word ending rhymes. Perfect/near rhymes, couplets, quatrains, anaphoras, alliteration, identical, assonance sounds, etc. - dude got his SAT vocab down to increase even more possibilities. I just cant grasp why some people making so much money when there is a dude like him. For instance, why Jack Harlow more famous than him? The only thing that would make Mack even more overpowered. Only if he can get this level of rap with another language to increase even more his phoneme's arsenal and image switching languages with the mack's level of freestyle.
