Here's the thing. If you're talking about visually connecting objects and themes and actually freestyling off the top, I agree Harry Mack is in a league of his own. But Eminem has shown time and time again that he's able to manipulate words and do intricate layered written schemes on levels that other artists may never do. Eminem has thousands of rhyme schemes stored in his head, so his freestyles would likely be way more intricate even though it wasn't "thought of directly on the spot". Harry Mack has found a great niche and way to monetize himself by doing what he does.

I felt if he continued with freestyling, he would be around Mack’s level. Harry Mack wasn’t always this good either. I’m sure in his twenties, he probably choked a lot. Most rappers once they make it big don’t bother with freestyling since they don’t have to anymore. They just focus on making music. Eminem is probably the best lyricist that we know of. I doubt he’d be able to think as fast as Henry Mack, but I’m sure he’d destroy him in a diss track if he really wanted to. Em is a better lyricist/song writer, Harry Mack is the god of freestyling right now. It seems this is his main passion and he even mentioned how he writes better songs when he goes off the dome. His brain is not normal, or at least peak human. He’s been training so long, he’s doing things we didn’t think was possible. He even creates songs with a hook while he’s freestyling. Dude can create an entire album in a few hours if he wanted to. Well he still has to make the beats, but you get what I mean. No one is on Harry Mack’s level when it comes to freestyling. No one is on Eminem’s level when it comes to written lyricism. Both are great in their own ways.

Harry tries to be positive so much, it seems like it can be to a fault; where it takes away from him being 100% genuine. Macklemore is a smart guy, especially emotionally, so it would be hard for him to miss any jabs. He seemed pretty real and chill when he went on HiHo kids.
