Yeah you're right. I don't know how this part of the story went in the book though. But it doesn't make sense that these dementors are on the Hogwarts grounds

@@Sharongeval in the book i remember harry staying within the quidditch pitch, and the dementors came in despite being forbidden from entry into the grounds, and fed on harry, causing him to fall only 50 ft, then dumbledore sent them off. The movie made it so harry possibly flew high enough to where the dementors are supposed to be, then he fell 100-1000 ft down to the pitch

I get that really but for me this is the best quidditch scene in all the movies I love it

@@SP8inc you'd really take epic steroids over common sense? he flew way up into the clouds where the dementors were supposed to be, and yet they still tried to follow up on the dementors coming onto the grounds despite being banned from them. also cedric diggory did not get taken out like he did in the film, he actually caught the snitch and won the game for hufflepuff, but as soon as he saw what happened to harry, he attempted to call for a rematch, but oliver wood declined, saying they won fair and square. cho chang was also meant to make her first appearance in the omitted match against ravenclaw. they missed the opportunity to set up TWO important characters. what's even worse is that in the match against ravenclaw, malfoy, crabbe, goyle and marcus flint attempted to sabotage harry by dressing as dementors, but harry cast a corporeal patronus for the first time and shot it at them. this was another major thing that should've been kept
