I've been listening audiobooks since the pandemic but mostly in my mother tongue which is Portuguese, now I found this channel unexpectedly and I really enjoyed, even though wasn't my plan to listen Harry Potter books, I will continue because the narrator made such a good job!! That is exactly how I listen to audiobooks and podcasts - while I am doing other things, like working out, or doing the grocery shopping. I absolutely love audiobooks, and since I like Harry Potter, I thought it would be interesting to make this audiobook for English learners, especially since I am an English teacher!!!! Josh

@ is there any chance that one day you decide to read the original text, but with your speed (I mean slowly and clearly as now)? It will be fantastic, because there is every one audiobook on KZfaq that I found, at this moment, is so fast, that it is demotivating to learn English, because I don't hear it, it sounds like a noise, but not every separate word

Que excelente trabalho! Como Portuguesa, em que além de filmes infantis e de família são dobrados e pouco mais e tudo legendado, inglês desde os 7 anos e assim entendo praticamente tudo o que falam. Yes, often the last thing we develop is the ability to speak comfortably, even if we can communicate clearly and well - there is a lot of psychology involved too. For example, I am terrified of making mistakes, so I tend not to speak too much. By not speaking, that reduces my opportunities to improve - it is a vicious cycle!!!! Practice, practice, practice!
