Agree with everything you said about the price point. Wasn’t going to bother but then I got a 20 percent off discount code, taking it down to under £120, which was enough to tempt me! Mine arrived on Saturday all ready for Christmas!

The ridiculously limited number/type of devices it works with, considering the $150 price, is just insane. They need to make the wands work RELIABILITY with at least 75% of all WiFi enabled smart devices (TV's, Light bulbs, speakers, thermostats, etc), NOT just two smart bulbs (Philips HUE and LIFX) and NOT just two of the least popular smart TV's (Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV Cube, yes only the Cube, not even all the other Amazon Fire TV devices!). Yes, I know they claim that they will add more supported devices in the future, but that's not now, and you should NEVER buy a product based on "future promises".

It seems pretty cool and exciting. Not sure people will use it that much after having it for a while and trying it 😂 thanks for sharing. Always great videos and your excitement is contagious ❤🎉😊

When they didn’t tell us the price, I knew it was likely out of my price range and it is. I like you, just don’t have many things in my house that I can pair it with. It is very pretty and I am happy for those who were able to get a wand. I’m personally more interested in getting the Halloween and Sorting Hat pins I missed.

Hi Victoria, Im glad you mentioned me in your video hahaha, i have to say the wand is stunning the design is exquisite but the quality of the wand is just a downer unfortunately, i received the Defiant wand and the box was stunning absolutely amazing, but the fact i had to then spend £140 on a Fire TV Cube, (If you want to play it on the TV), then i spent £160 on LED Philips Lights Strips, then £230 on the Philips Sync Box and £50 on the Philips Hue Bridge, cost me an absolute fortune, this is if you wanted the full experience, in the end when i casted Expecto Patronum, my Patronus would show on my TV. Its good that people can use it on there phones and ipads but, it was a downer also because you couldnt play online multiplayer, and that you had to have 2+ wand per house hold or nearby. Luckily i returned the Fire TV Cube, but im glad you are have a good time with your wand Victoria. Do i think its worth £149... For what it does YES, for the WAND quality, maybe not this wand, but the Defiant wand, No unfortunately. xx

Victoria where did you get your jumper. My granddaughter has cerebral palsy and just turned 10 and loves Harry Potter and is a Ravenclaw she would love it.

Cool looking but I feel its overpriced for what you get, this is similar to the wand company tv remote wand when it comes to controling the TV and lights radio ect. That I belive at lease cost around £50 and belive you can still by it for £40 now. I like the design and that are some cool things but a overall package for the price its just not there. I would have put it at that £80-£90

I was not happy with the whole process of buying. The access to pre-order opened up a few hours early. After being told it was sold out, I was able to get mine almost a day later. £150 was too much, in hindsight, and I wasn’t told the money was coming out… and it went out of the wrong account (I was going to change to another card to keep it as a surprise). And then we get the email saying other version will have a 20% discount. It might be limited edition but this just feels like fleecing fans. I sold mine on to a US collector (and not for the stupid prices I’ve seen) and hope to get some US items from them at a later date. I don’t think I’ll go for one of the other versions yet, not when we also have Legacy coming out later next year. I’m just feeling a little disillusioned about how fans are being treated.

Hi Victoria, thankyou for your review, so i just opened mine (honourable) and I have to say like a lot of others I'm not happy with the visible seam, the light from the wand even escapes from my seam... also the music doesnt sound right on mine, like a really high pitched whistle (actually hurts my ears) almost underneath it so I think if that's the same when it's fully charged ill be emailing their support. Like you and alot of others I really don't think it's worth the £150, super flimsy and feels low quality. For your ref when mine is charging the wand lights up and flashes and he box near the charger point lights up red.

Nice wand but bit to much money for time of year would love to be a able to buy this was bit shock with the price of them all xx
