Granted, a specific, small portion or amount of people have “abilities”. But, no one knows where they come from, or where they originate, that still remains a mystery to those who know or not. Only then, we only can see that it is a vast rarity for a person to have one, and said so ability possesses great, supernatural power.
Hundreds of years ago, preferably in a time of wealth and new creation of magic spells in Britain, Hogwarts was first placed on the grounds of Scotland. Since magic is new, mistakes and misdoings of magic are very common, and proprietary proper teaching and use of magic was still unsheathed and less common back then.
Eventually, having a school where teachers teach magic to underaged children, things can go wrong. An event where a mix of spells, potions, and concussions mixed onto a human, whether on purpose or unintentionally, happened. Many old historians say no one knows the details, after all, this was a long time ago, the books of which event happened shredded or decayed.
Leading there, the event leads to the creation of what many call an “ability”, as people know and call it. As it was passed from person to person, whether your parents are abilities users or not. It still remains a mystery how a person can get an ability or a superpower.
Fast forward to Dazai Osamu, his goal was to get all three Deathly Hallows. Only problem? He doesn’t know where to get information.
He really hates Mori for this. Dragging him to a bunch of school children and saying, “Oh yeah, I know the Deathly Hallows exists, but I don’t know much details! Todeloo!” he ought he’d give more information, but he guessed Mori loves torturing him like this. Contrary to popular belief, he hates research, but the reward is satisfactory. If he ever meets one who does, he’d call that a full-faced masochist more than he is.
Besides, getting information about the wizarding world is finding a needle in the ocean. It’s like nothing ever scraped outside of the wizard world. He’d thought there would be still some spill-overs over their secretary, but he’d had to give to them, they were really good.
“Library! Yes, library!”, Dazai exclaimed, as he thought of the idea. While finding out Hogwarts had 142 staircases when reading through history, he doubts that’ll help him. Although… He looked at the she-brown-haired Gryffindor. She might help.
