I believe Voldemort was acknowledging Harry's noble act of sacrificing himself so others may live. He saw it as someone who knew they would lose giving up to end the fighting. He was being poetic as a way to say "I respect you for this, but you must still die." He did it to give Harry an honorable death.

The Boy Who Lived is one of Harry's titles. If anything, he is mocking Harry, calling him the boy who lived... come to die. The 2 halves of the sentence are almost like antonyms or some shit. Clauses... Contrast... Irony... Fuck knows. It is basically like volderz said "Angel, you're off to hell." he will no longer have the title posthumously, or so Voldy would like to believe. The styling would still remain.

Notice right at that moment Voldemort fires the killing curse at Harry. A split second before the screen fades to white, you can see Voldemort falling backwards as a result of him effectively killing the horcrux within Harry, which stuns him as such.

As someone once pointed out in another video, just before Voldemort casts the curse, Harry closes his eyes. This is a call back to their duel in Goblet of Fire, where Voldemort says "Look at me, I want to see the light leave your eyes as you die!" So as a final fuck you to Voldy, Harry closes his eyes so he doesn't get that satisfaction.

While watching this, a mosquito flew in front of my face. As I am allergic to mosquito stings, I kind of panicked and slammed my hand into the mosquito in mid-air so hard that the mosquito crashed into the wall a meter away and got stuck on the wall. Accalypzz Actually Harry Potter was The Master of Death as he had three Deathly hallows. He was a horcrux and Voldemort killed that Horcrux unknowingly. Also Harry Potter was the Master of The Elder Wand hence the Elder wand did not kill his possessor harry. So in a nutshell, being a Horcrux, owner of Elder Wand, and The Master of Death, Harry Potter was given a chance to go back to life. Also, The Elder Wand could not kill Harry as he was his true owner and so the Killing Curse rebounded and killed the horcrux inside Harry.

Voldemort knows how to make a Horcruxe, did it ever cross his mind that he might have accidentally made Harry a Horcruxe? After 17 years of living since killing the Potter's, Voldemort was never able to connect the process of making Horcruxes to what happened when he got thwarted by a 1 year old kid.

Nope. And that's the beauty of it. He unintentionally made Harry into a Horcruxe and as he was so wrapped up in being defeated he never cared about anything deeper than the superficial reasons he lost.

I remember seeing this in the theater when it first was released. i thought who would finish Voldemort if Harry is dead? as sad as this may sound i don't think Harry knew he was coming back once killed with avada kedavra spell. he gave Ron and Hermione instructions to kill the snake then it's just him. he probably thought he will be reunited with his parents his godfather his friends. at the moment he probably knew he would never see Mrs. Weasley's cherry face or Mr. Weasley's smile or questions about muggle contraptions. he'd never kiss Ginny again or see Ron and Hermione get married have kids and watch them go off to Hogwarts. sad

And There are still clowns claiming that Snape is the bravest character in the series Harry exemplified courage at every turn even though in most scenes he was a child and here he literally walked toward his death and was looking at Voldemort face’s while he killing him Harry called Snape the bravest to reassure his frightened son of Slytherin, he's so humble, he wouldn't say I'm the bravest Al.
