nagini is a phyton....she does not have poison it proves that snape used vulnera sanentur ; the healing spell to survive blood loss. maybe j.k. rowling is planning something good about this awesome character to be seen at the cursed child.... like what he did to draco when harry hexed him using sectumsepra....snape actually used his spell vulnera sanentur to cure malfoy and i think it proves that snape is isn't dead.....remember, snape is intelligent...... we all knew that allan rickman is gone.....maybe she would use somebody else to portray snape's character thats only my opinion guys.... Snape wasnt killed by Nagini. Voldemort slit his throat. If Voldemort didnt kill him he would have risked not getting the Elderwand to obey (or so he thought) which is a far to great risk. Besides Nagini is a constrictor and therefore not venomous.

Yeah.. he's *dead*. It's confirmed that Harry made sure to put his picture up in Dumbledoor's study (the Headmaster's room). How is he in a painting if he isn't dead? He also knew he had to die to keep Voldemort from knowing who the true master of the Elder wand was.. Oh and Malfoy is not a werewolf.

He could die AND still be alive. Pettigrew managed to brew a ressurection potion for Voldemort years before. I think Snape (also Lucius going by book canon) could manage to brew one as a last resort. If not improve on the original. Lucius left the battle early (in both the book and film I think). If Lucius got to his body (or he had a portkey that triggered upon his death) before it rot and decomposed, then he could use the potion. He'd likely have a nice scar for a while/ever. But he could go on the run or use polyjuice. Easy.

To me it makes absolutely sense. Rowling can say he's dead, but she might intend that she assume he is dead as the majority did. Also there's a huge piece of hp fandom who doesn't like "resurrected" character and who I think would rather prefer Snape dead. I think is more convenient for her to say he is dead! Severus healed Draco from cuts, so could heal himself. He strikes me as the kind of guy that would definitely be prepared for any eventuality, so would carry a variety of potions. I don't think he's dead at all. J.K. Rowling could definitely continue with the story of Severus xx

Interesting theory and good argument but unfortunately, it would appear that Severus Snape is indeed dead. He's one of my favorites. I'd love for him to be alive and had survived but it doesn't look like that is the case.

Sooooo.....there Is this portrait of Snape hanging around somewhere, but it was never automatically put up by Hogwarts itself because of some stupid crap that he supposedly abandoned his post. ( I don't believe that Hogwarts never knew of Snape's REAL allegiance.) No instead it was Harry potter himself who felt that Snape deserved his own portrait. AND we never even get so much as a hearsay of his portrait?! Did Harry ever had a good conversation with it? Was it even animated? Why is Severus Snape so obviously muffled beneath the carpet by Rowling in the first place?

~Live reactions~ 1- Snape didn't show up with the resurrection stone because even though he loved lily, and don't get me wrong i am a snape supporter, Snape was in fact an asshole. He was possessive of Lily and mean. One could ask, why wasn't Fred there? Why wasn't Moody there" Why wasn't freakin Dumbledore there? Because Harry simply did not love them in the same way he did James, Lily, Sirius and Remus. 2- Just because he was a potions master, why on earth would he have anti venom at all times? And to prove this, Nagini wasn't venomous she just deeply bit him and he died of blood loss and the small attack by Voldemort. Being a potions mast can't help that. Sorry, but of course Snape died. He wouldn´t´ve drunk an anti-venom potion just before his every interaction with Voldemort. He would've had to drink a great many other potions and performed charms every time as well to be prepared for any other kind of violence or curse possibly to be inflicted on him. This may sound controversial, but making a Horcrux in advance would've been the best protection against any and all of the above. Which I don't think he did. Oh it's all terribly speculative, isn't...?
