WOW. This man is a mastermind at his work. Behind every song in Fine Line there's always something to look for and in this particular song, you can hear the little bits of string, piano, and horn trying to peak through in the verses, and then overcoming with power in the last part. Harry knows everything he wants in his songs and it puts such a smile on my face to hear something in my ear and think that Harry requested that. He may be a world known artist, but such an underrated creator when you take the time to listen to the back lines of his work.

I'm listening to this 3 hours before the first day of my senior year in high school starts because damn I'm nervous and scared for my future cuz I don't want college after high school since I don't feel like I'm that smart to get into one (sorry if this was long)
@angie84823 жыл бұрын
Hi Brenda, let me tell you this... I felt the exact same way as you did. I graduated last year from high school, and I was terrified of letting go my senior year because that would mark the end of my childhood. I was scared of what lied ahead out there after high school. I felt like you said, “not smart enough” to attend college. I didn’t feel like I had what it takes to go to a college. Now that I’m in my first year and finished it not too long ago... let me tell you that no one will ever know what is going to happen. I can’t tell you what you’ll feel or see in the future. The thing is... the future is so unpredictable. The future can be scary, hurtful, amazing, and much more, but you’ll never know if you don’t put yourself out there. I’m beyond blessed to have made it to my dream college and found my reason to continue. I won’t lie to you that I still get nervous if this career/major is the one for me... but I will never know if I don’t try. I’m currently planning to achieve my life goal of going to a place that I long for.. and that is to go to a flower field in Montana. That’s what I’m fighting for right now. So take something out of here and please, discard those feelings/thoughts. Those are set to you for you to fail and stop you from doing what you are capable of achieving. I truly do hope your senior year is going great! Make the most out of it love, because the best is yet to come!

@brennns2 жыл бұрын
@@luke-cf4uz lol today i was thinking of this comment idk why and thanks for asking btw tbh its been a heck of a long journey since i made the comment lots of things have happened with career passions and personal stuff. I'm not gonna lie but senior year in high school was emotional in a way my teachers would pressure me in applying to college because they were extremely worried for life after high school for me because i only wanted to go and just work but in the last days of may i had to give in to the pressure and apply to college even if they knew i wasn't ready and because i didnt wanted to dissapoint my family. Now days with community college it feels like its not me everyday i wake up i dont feel like doing the work and it feels like a lot of pressure because being the first hispanic to go 2 higher education its a huge deal. So imma see how that goes. With personal stuff lots of family issues happened in july that took the same day as the death of my dads uncle and that day i cried till 6 am the next day i couldn't sleep at all due to the problem/fight that happened and just a month ago my ex best friend blocked me and somehow wants my friendship back since today sorry if its lots but a lot happens in just little time. 💗

This isn’t just a song, it’s a feeling on it’s own that’s so hard to explain. And when it comes to fine line, it’s honestly a reminder of why music is here for us. And it’s our way of communication, cause sometimes, it’s just really hard to put thoughts into words at times And when I first heard this song it feels like your looking back at something that’s no longer in your life. Or maybe a memory that you’ve been avoiding for the longest. Everything just feels likes it’s slowing down and you’re able to take a break from this life that’s feels so focused on the future and it’s just something that we always struggle with it, it’s this random pressure we put on our selves to be better because of our mistakes our failures and even a heart break that’s happened to us and they just overshadow everything. It’s so easy to loose yourself when you’re focused on becoming someone that doesn’t even exist yet. I spent so many years thinking of who I could become when it needs to happen. But i exist right now. You get this chance to discover something one day I might not completely understand and that’s honestly okay and these sort of emotions we feel it’s never going to disappear and it’s always there for us, not just to learn or grow as a person but to experience. but to be present.
