I have been a fan of One Direction since 2012 and I have followed all 5 of the guys' solo careers and I have to agree with you that what Harry has accomplished on his own far exceeds what 1D had accomplished; not to say that 1D wasn't big! I think all of the guys have said at different points throughout their solo careers that Harry was born to be a performer/entertainer and it really shines through when you go to his concerts. I also really appreciate that he's always been really greatful for the opportunities and platform that being in 1D has given him and that his solo career basically introduces a new audience to the band's music. His tour ends on Saturday and it's definitely going to be bittersweet but he and the love band really do deserve some time off after touring for the better portion of 2 years!

Harry said at the beginning of his solo career that if he never reaches the same level he did while in 1D that would be ok. However, I think we can say with some confidence that he's way surpassed that level and just gets better & better. BTW, this was the 2nd year he's done HarryWeen. The first year was 2 shows with a Wizard of Oz theme on the first night (Harry was Dorothy complete with sparkly ruby slipper boot footwear!!) and sang Somewhere Over rhe Rainbow. The second night was a Peirrot Clown theme where he sang Britney Spears' Toxic. And then there was this Grease themed one last year. There's speculation whether there will be one this year.

During 1D, the boys were literally still boys and their songs controlled by a management wanting to reach basically young girls with "bubble gum music". Since Zayn, for whom that kind of music was the furthest away from his own style, left the band, there was the opportunity for all of them to find and create their own individual style. During 1D, Harry was always the one to be seen learning and improving himself. Obviously talented and blessed with a fantastic voice, front man appeal and creativity, Harry also put a hell lot of hard work into his carreer as a musician and entertainer, giving always 100% and more. Plus he' s been interested in human beings and life in general and in what it takes to evolve as a decent, kind and caring personality, which he did. Plus recognizing the necessity to keep up a healthy life style and do lots of workout in order to make it through an exhausting two-year-tour. I have tremendous respect for Harry and he deserves every single bit of his accomplishments and success, I really do love and admire him so much for good reasons.

I didn't follow 1D although I have been listening to their music recently and find it fun and somewhat clean and innocent. But the music really did speak more to the younger population IMO. I only knew Harry's name in connection to TS but didn't know much else. I stumbled upon his song Falling a few months ago and it struck me deep in my soul. Now I listen to his music daily. He has a gorgeous voice and is a great story teller. I would say that my story isn't unique either. He is gaining a whole new set of supporters daily. He is the whole package and for me his music brings back the fond times of my youth with his style and sound of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. He appreciates the legends of the past it's clear to see. Yes, he's easy on the eyes but his talent coupled with his message and persona of love and kindness is a message we all need to embrace. Harry never speaks bad of others and you can't help but fall in love with someone so kind and so talented. I pray he never changes. Thanks.

So hard for a male singer! Almost impossible! Go Harry!!!!!!! Band was all dressed as the Pink Ladies! The girl with the rollers was dressed as “Frenchy” who was enrolled in beauty school!!! Mitch long harder guitar player was in a baseball uniform and cap as John Travalta in the beginning of the movie trying to play sports and be a jock! Yes Harryween 2022! He’s done it 2 years in a row now!

Harry for sure has outdone one direction. Ive bever been a fan from 1d qnd never will be. But harrys music really resinates with me and has a special place in my heart. I would just likw to add to what i said in the live (im niki) that his tour is the 4th highest grossing tour OF ALL TIME. loved your reaction as always

Thinking about boy bands, those bands that didn't break away at the right time never seemed to be able to get out from under that stigma. There is Justin Timberlake who made it and a few girls like Beyonce, but most of them couldn't get there and to see them still performing their songs 20 years later without new and fresh material seems like they have been stunted, unfortunately. Zayne did those guys a favor by leaving, although the exit could have been smoother. I think they all have had some solo success which is good to see, but Harry was definitely born to entertain and rise to the occasion. Watching 1D videos, to me he was the one connecting with the audience in meaningful ways.Lastly, I heard someone on KZfaq say, we need to remember that these guys didn't audition as a band. They were solo artists first and then they were put in to a band. Big difference. They started as solo artists, remained unique when in the band, and emerged as solo artists. This is a great example for how to be successful.

as a one direction fan when they were together, only harry survived as an artist i love once they broke up. he’s 100% outdone anything 1D did and has done so at an amazing pace. i looove this cover too.

Larries - fans of the Larry Stylinson theory - will say he sings “hopelessly devoted to LOU” at two points. I don’t know for sure, but the crowd gives a surge of cries at those points, which sort of gives the impression that the people actually there thought Harry said “Lou”
