I listened to Gen B’s account on another space and I left emotional and with a lot questions for Toddler’s sincerity as a friend and business partner. Having listened to Toddler and if his account of this incident is correct, it shows Gen B’s as a person who strives for authority through the shortcomings of others, it also shows reflects selfishness and will to be abusive and exploitive. To treat an adult and one you consider a friend or many years and now business partner with a “lesser than” attitude, doesn’t set a tone for growth in any relationship. Considering all, I think it’s best both gentlemen go separate ways in a PEACEFUL way but not before a meeting of the minds about the business of Boom-Box and an agreement to agree/disagree on personal matters. This only shows and reaffirms that which have been echoed for decades; the bad blood and the “crab-ina-barrel” mentality in the Dancehall industry. We lack appreciation, respect and LOVE for our own brothers and sisters. Not until there is a change will continue to see similar incidents. And I am sure these type of incidents permeates the industry in the contracts, backstages, studio yards, etc., but we just happened to have seen this live.
