Imagine; we decided to invade Japan, with all of the even most conservative casualties incurred of American lives, causing untold Japanese lives as well, for however long that would have taken, and THEN the American people learned sometime later that we had the bomb, and could have avoided it the entire time!?! What questions would we be asking now? Especially the families of all of those young men and women who would have otherwise survived! That's the question.

Nice talk, but very superficial. I was hoping for some deeper insight, perspective and info beyond that of common knowledge among those who study the subject. If anyone has suggestions on less esoteric talks or lectures, please advise.
