Күн бұрынDo you think we can survive without having a single rupee? @willpalmeer and I take on the no money challenge in the vibrant streets of India! We try to go around for one day in the busy streets of Amritsar, just trying to depend on the incredible hospitality and kindness of the locals. This day was surely filled with a rollercoaster of emotions, unexpected encounters, and the ultimate test of resourcefulness, as we navigate the bustling cities with absolutely ZERO funds. We also went back to the Golden Temple at night to see if we can stay there for the night.

26:06 So what's happening here is that you gave a donation for prasad (the halwa you're eating). You are given half back and it is then considered blessed. Some folks don't even have enough for the prasad so its given out for free for those in need, just like the langar (communal meal). - I appreciate how respectful and genuine your questions are about sikh culture.

25:45 this ritual (or you can say this thing) what we do is we take degh (sweet pudding) from that counter we pray and then give it to those guys standing there, they take it and mix it for the congregation so that its distributed amongst all. Later they give half of that degh to eat. Its a way to contribute in God’s Prasad.

I have been to Amritsar and your video brought back all the fond memories that am literally in tears now. While living in India, a lot of people don’t value the living there and run after western countries. Harry - They gave that half food as it is Prasada or a religious offering. It is given to devotees after prayers to God, it's a sacred food. Absolutely loved hearing that you love Indian hospitality and culture :) Keep visiting India.

The meal which you both ate at the Golden temple that wasn't the dinner that was just a type of dessert served to the god. The dinner is served in a different hall (langar hall) in which you get nutritious, hygenic and free food and there is no limit on eating you may eat until you are full no one will stop❤❤ btw awesome vlog and loved that nowadays everyone is showing the reality of our india 🇮🇳 , because bad peoples are everywhere in the world we should be away from them and focus on the good things and positivity in the world❤

Did you know that the golden Temple apart from offering free food & free lodgings, visitors to golden temple can access on site free medical services and medicines if they become unwell. There is also a Sikh museum inside the temple.

Ohhhh i can feel the shy in your voice when asking for money or asking for food for free. You never put yourself in a situation like this in your whole life, i can understand. Actually this made me realize how difficult the first days must be for people who just become homeless. It's really hard for asking something for free for people who has dignity.
