@@sneharoy5063 Yeah no shit, if a person can't take a bit of roast they shouldn't go to a standup. If the person hearing isn't offended, who are you and I to be offended for their sake? Imagine being hurt on bad shoe quality. If you set your standards so low, anyone would come off as offensive and mean. Clearly the majority of the crowd was a good sport.

And in this age of intolerance and cancel culture, it's fair to assume cheeti ke upar se chadhne par bhi log offend ho sakte hai. Fir ye toh poor choice of shoes hai, iss par punch down karna unfair hai, especially crowd work mei jaha aapko logo se interact karke jokes banane hote hai. Friend, a good sense of humor saves you from humiliation. If you have that, you can not be humiliated. Or, get offended. It is not about how humor is practiced in India, there are numerous comedians all over the world who make hot takes, par kehte hai na, ghar ki murgi daal barabar. Peace!

People in comment section saying that Harsh's jokes were humiliation and Bassi is class. For me, both of them were garbage. Exactly, why would I pay to be in their show. Now, there's a complete need for comedy schooling too if one needs to be a comedian. How does crowd work = disrespect audience? Also, how absolutely I hate these phrases used by men in India so commonly, 'teri marenge aaj', 'ladki dilvado', etc. Like, I don't want to loose my dignity by even talking about people who use these phrases, leave alone attending their show. Their are very few good comedians left.
