This is how I give myself a TED talk every once in a while! It actually felt like a heart to heart conversation. Remember when we used this quote when we were in school “God help those who help themselves”? I never really understood that quote as I never really thought about it. But until few years back, I truly understood what does this quote mean. When we, ourselves, lose hope, lose confidence, no one is going to save us. I’m one of those people who cries in private (not even in front of family). I don’t allow people near me when I’m feeling down or crying. Because it’s something I prefer to deal on my own, because I can think and understand why am I feeling that way and how can I fix this. One should be strong enough to be comfortable in their own company. This is cliche but if you can’t accept yourself, can’t raise yourself up, you won’t be able to do it for others.
