I greatly appreciate the fact that you put in like small cuts where you explain nuances in the game. I am a big fan of that. Not sure if you started doing this with this video or I just didn't notice it before, but please, keep doing that!

I think the Captain has done this before but only once or twice. I wish people would do it more instead of just hand-waving an explanation of some "brilliant" tactic or strategy. Startcraft is, after all, a real time Strategy game, and while the explanation does detract slightly from the tempo of the cast or the game, it allows experienced players a little time to process the intricacies of something they haven't seen before and allows the rest of us a little glimpse into the mind of the strategist.

Seconded, loved it!

it feels like I'm watching a shounen anime and some character pauses the action to explain what the MC did and how he defeated the villain

I loved this! the little clip where you jumped to the replay made his midgame actually make sense and could then apricate how cool it was.

i like that commentary over focused harstem. would like to see this in your esl weekly’s or just when your trying to move up the ladder

The in-depth nuance of decision making was fascinating! I loved hearing some of the theory behind why a play was good or bad in context. Very cool, I hope to see more of this style!

The commentary... with the cut scenes to the replay is a REALLY good way to showcase your game play.. well done.

9:03 - "It's not a crazy snowball effect, it is a pretty significant snowball effect" xD Idk Harstem that still sounds in the realm of crazy if you ask me!

I know that most viewers might not appreciate the deep dive you went into regarding what you saw and timings associated....but this was awesome as someone who only plays at the diamond lvl. Please do more deep dives like you did where you explain what you're seeing and what it indicates

I like this style where you comment after a game is done, I feel like it'll be more helpful to you in the long run

Love your videos Harstem, hearing what you're thinking as you're moving, the on-the-fly analysis its awesome. At this point I love playing and watching these videos pretty much equally, one fuelling the other haha. As a fellow protoss player I'm always interested in the openings and thought process, particularly against zerg which i find the hardest matchup. Super entertaining.

1:50 I want to add that while this is true in most cases, the Terran can decide to mind game you and delay their orbital to get the cc down at ‘standard’ timing so be sure to scout!
@nibs19894 ай бұрын
I've been trying to learn your 3gate blink opener vs t. I like seeing how you adapted it on the fly with scouting. Everything you are doing is like, what I envision myself doing, but horribly executed on my part and a bit slow. But what you did I was like, yeah, makes sense. @3.4k mmr D3 currently, hope to get to 4kmmr d1 at some point :) these kinds of replays help.

11:21 if you want to be a GM on protoss. A move zeals stalkers and Collossus, ohh wait if you can use storms meanwhile you can be top 100GM and we wish luck to our terrans and zergs to Micro like gods, liberators vikings split marines marauders, position correctly tanks and mines. we wish to our zergs to use like gods fungals, corrosive biles, parasitic bomb, sorround from 4568 angles to atleast trade a little bit against protoss. Such a Cynicism from Protoss players!.

the player just use creativity, because is a game of creation and imagination, and you are surprised cause he just don't follow rules like others. Hard to understand, you should you play if you just follow rules??? for practice your hand muscles...
