In the early 80's, as an American it was difficult to be a fan of a British act. No internet, no news, no information about upcoming releases... My parents happened to be traveling in Britain when this program aired and watched it for my benefit so they they could report back. I was glad to hear about it, but it also made me froth with jealousy!! So very glad to see it today!

Toyah is one of the most interesting, inspiring and fascinating people i have seen on telly. Such passion and intelligent to with quick playful wit, They showed a clip of a guy who played her husband and i thought the comment Russell made was flippant and disrespectful. just because she liked him and enjoyed working with him doesn't mean she wanted anything else from him. I expect he was joking but i thought it was distasteful and unpleasant. I think Toyah is amazing in so many ways xxx

I think she's even more gorgeous now than she was. And she was gorgeous back then. I don't know if they're married but I know she's with Robert fripp. Brilliant guitarist. They look really happy together.

I think she kinda looks like siouxsie Sioux with that look, but she looks good with her natural hair color, she was really cute during this time

The early 80s uptight British audience didn't know how to take that if their silence was anything to go by. I feel like shaking my head despairingly. She was strangely both of her time as well as ahead of her time.

This song sounds a bit like the Chauffeur by Duran Duran.
