From a pure viewing perspective the Harugumo and Shimikaze when played well are fun to watch in replays Sadly with CV's and radar those great replays are more rare now thanks for the upload Toptier

I think that barrels heat incrementally with each shot and reaches a thermal limit after a rapid succession of shots. Probably 10 or 20 without active cooling during rapid fire events.

If you want to implement reality into this game, battleships would take ~2 minutes to reload after every salvo.

The USS Washington, admiraled by Olympic Gold Medal Marksman "Ching" Lee, put 8 broadsides into the IJN Kirshima at less than 7000 yards in 2.5 minutes in the Battle of Savo Island. Meanwhile it's partner, the USS South Dakota, was blinded and disabled by over 50 destroyer and cruiser hits to the superstucture tripping the main breakers. It had to withdraw. The four escorting US destroyers were sunk. It would be interesting for WOW to create an accurate simulation of this night action.

I must add you must know when to unleash hell and when to stay away. But if the trap is done correctly you melt down anything on same tier. Same as the grosse kurfurst I stay behind a safe place taking pot shots and then if the time is right I sail in and unleash secondary hell. I sunk a Kremlin and Yama both full health all by my lonesome self. DD in his smoke no problem sail up drop hydro watch him melt away with secondaries. ^^^all that is good and well but I have seen my ass also few times. Luck of the draw. But German ships played correctly is absolute hell. With a very difficult citadel to hit. Fire is the greatest enemy of German bb.
