As someone who studies early Islamic history (and is a fan of Khayzuran), I love watching this and being able to visualize the things I've studied, seeing everything play out in front of me and not just on paper.

Its my first time to see any arabic drama. I love arabic people and culture love from Lahore 🇵🇰 Pakistan

I read 1001 nights as a child; from there I "know" Harun al Rashid, Jafar, I know the wonderful city of Damascus... the film is a culmination of what I have read. Great movie! Superb actors, costumes, scenery, everything. Congratulations everyone!

I have just started watching this serial after watching Magnificent century. I find it very interesting to watch but I request the translator to have a big fonts as it is very difficult for senior people like me to read though I m thankful n grateful that it is translated in English. Good work. At least someone started showing the golden age of Islam. The longest khilafat in muslim history. His period was example for art and learning and he established house of wisdom first time in history. No one was equivalent to him except Rashidun Khalifa.

I saw several arabic dramas on haroon rashid but looks very amazing. Arabic drama was always very beautiful but i dont know why recently their drama dont have that influence which they were having before. I think this drama will create a history

portrayed like golden age of islam is shown. But in reality seems a series to defame that golden era. Queen Zubaydah, a very generous pious and a lover of Quran. She possessed great knowledge of Hadiths and the Quran. she had 100 women employed in her palace just for reciting the Quran. ( where is all this shown in the series? She is the one who build Ain e Zubaydah from baghdad to makkah Harun ur Rasheed the most famous of all Abbasids, portrayed among women . How did the state run ? It seems to me that this series is to defame both of them. yes , power struggle was there with other short comings as well. but shame to those who want to defame Muslims nobel characters and only highlight their short comings. please read some good literature yo know about our Muslim famous figures. This series is a fiction and did not show real personalities of Harun ur rasheed and Queen zubaydah. Will appreciate if other share their comments about content of this series. thanks.

هارون الرشيد الذي كان يحج عام ويجاهد عام وتاريخه مليء بالفتوحات و الملاحم العظيمه لتي اخضع فيها عروش أوروبا وهذا بشهادة المؤرخين الأوروبين انفسه. لا نرى اي شيء من هذا في هذا المسلسل العلماني التافه. الذي يركز على خدور النساء. Harun al-Rashid used to go out every year for Hajj and the other for jihad, and his history is full of great epics in which he was able to defeat the Crusaders , this was the golden age of Islam and the development of sciences. While Europe was living in the era of darkness.. We do not see any of this in this secular series that tries to mislead you that Harun al-Rashid's life revolved around women and sedition.

Before coming to Arab country I tried to watch this movie but I couldn't finish now I hope I will really watch it all 😂😂😂I have searched to Arabic serial and it was the first to come across with

very very disappoint even from first episode and many many mistake disrespectful scripter in the series. 1st. The Character Haroon Rasheed look alike a comedian guy and disrespectful totally cut from original story. 2nd. women had no scarf covering on their head and their fashion dresses like a fantasy but not Islamic ritual and pious. 3rd. zero expression of face and dialog honesty and passionate as a Muslim being.
