want add, you are never in a hurry with doing work, besides harvesting crops, do all your other stuff at night it never will end..you can get 999 wood on first day, by jumping into the fountain in the woods and keep going.. time is also on pause if you are in a house, no stress taking care of the animals

I overall like Harvest Moon for the SNES. It's one of these games that you could play every 2 months and have a nice time. It offers enough stuff to do without drowning the player in a pool of too much information and complexity. And it just is a really relaxing game. I do not play it that often myself since, for me, it lacks depth and challenge. But I can understand everyone that has a good time with this game.

I love the series but I'm having difficulty managing time and money on this game. I get tired too fast, I don't have enough money, the days go by too fast, and worst of all my farm is lacking. In ten days in and I only got a single patch of grass and two crops

How do you forage? Is it possible to take the flowers from the woods?

You can walk into objects and pick them up in the mountains, and yes you can take the flowers, it's a great gift idea!

All the 2D Harvest moon games look soooooo cute QwQ I only played the PS2 installment so far but I couldn't really get into it D:

+Black Mars Both of the PS2 ones were two of the weakest titles in the series, mainly because of their ridged structure, and lack of features. I'd recommend either this one, Friends of Mineral Town on the GBA, Back to Nature on the PS1, or Harvest Moon 64 (although it's pricey) for beginners.

I did not know the first game was on SNES, I though the first was for GameBoy. It seems good for a SNES game, with many elements in the series. Thanks.

Yep this is the original, you can think of the Game Boy version live a heavily stripped down version though.

That's actually the first one in the series, it also had a subpar Gameboy port that I really can't recommend as it removed most of the features that made the initial game so much fun
