I am so excited to announce that I got a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer! It was a Christmas gift from my family and I already have so many plans! This is the Medium Pro and I think it will be the perfect size for our family. Follow along as I take you through my first time opening everything, setting it up, cleaning it and running a test batch. It has already been lots of fun and aside from a hiccup with the door seal, it went really smooth. After years of watching other people use theirs I feel like the possibilities for this machine are endless! If you have a freeze dryer, please share any of your favorite things to freeze dry! I would love to try new things.

Thank you for taking the time to be through in your video. You answered a lot of questions that I had about the freeze dryer. The first being, I did not know that you could remove the tray compartment. Great job.

Me too! It has been so much fun playing around with it and I hope I can get another video up before little garden helper #2 arrives! Right now the family favorite is freeze dried peaches. Yum!

You should see a seal all the way around the seal at all times when the door is closed. Need to pull the seal away from the machine towards the door a bit to achieve this.

Thanks! I was able to fix it after adjusting the door a bit. I recorded a video showing what I did and how/why the adjustment worked but lost the footage 😬. Thankfully I haven’t had a problem with the seal since.

I'm so excited to see what I can preserve from the garden this year too! I've already done a handful of the peaches I froze from last year and they were SOOOOO GOOD! I can't wait to see what they taste like when I process them from fresh picked peaches. It adds another level of excitement for this year's harvest season!

I really like this cart! It still feels very sturdy even with the wheels I bought for it. It’s so sturdy I don’t know if the lip along the edge is necessary but it makes me feel more comfortable when I’m wheeling it around.
