Today we are in No Mans Land with ‪@kedexworld‬ and we are harvesting barley silage. We started with removing an old small silage bunker and building a bigger silage bunker from concrete. After that was done we started getting ready for the silage. We attached our trailer to the Unimog and then we put the silage side on it. Then we detached the weight from the MB Trac and attached it to the Unimog. When that was done we jumped into Fendt and MB Trac and headed to the local dealer. We leased Lacotec LH II and Kemper 345 Plus and then we bought a Duvelsdorf leveler and silage compactor from the dealer. We attached the Lacotec LH II on the back of the Fendt and then we attached the Kemper 345 Plus to the Lacotec. After that was done we attached the lever on the front of the MB Trac and then attached the silage compactor on the back. When that was done we returned back to the farm and parked the MB Trac next to the bunker, we gonna use it to compact the silage. Then Kedex jumped into Unimog and I unfolded the harvester and set up the GPS and we started harvesting barley silage. Kedex was carting the chaff and I was running the harvester. Fendt had plenty of power to run the Lacotec LH II and Kemper 345 Plus on the back as the harvester. We harvested one field of barley and then we switched the positions. Kedex harvested the last field and I carted the chaff. After we finished harvesting, we washed the equipment and started compacting the silo. When that was done, we covered the silo with a trap, and then I did maintenance on the Unimog and trailer while Kedex washed and parked the MB Trac. Then I parked the trailer and we headed to the local dealer. We returned the harvester and leased a fuel tanker and attached it to the Unimog. Then we bought 3750 liters of diesel for 4.687 euros and headed back to the farm. We unloaded the diesel into our storage tanker and then we transfer the fuel from the old mobile tanker into the storage. After that was done Kedex did some maintenance on the MB Trac and I attached the weight on the front of the Unimog and refiled it with fuel. When that was done we parked the Unimog and MB Trac in the shed. Then we serviced our harvester and header and also we refiled the fuel in the harvester. After that was done we parked the harvester back into the shed and then we headed inside the house for a lunch break.
