This video is about harvesting and drying process of large cardamom.
Large cardamom (Amomum subulatum), also known as black cardamom is extensively cultivated in Sikkim, Darjeeling and north east states of India. It is also cultivated in Nepal and Bhutan. It is a cash crop and is generally used as a spice in food. It contains 2-3% essential oil and possesses medicinal properties.

Exactly there is an equal role of women in agriculture.. in fact they work more than men ..After coming from work they usually have to cook , wash dishes etc BTW its a good and quality video

First of all 'YOUR HINDI IS SUPER ' 2ND I am quite intrested in to start a small start up by March 2022 in Jalpaiguri, I want some deep knowledge of quality of large cardamom as well as post harvest storeg technique. If possible please make a blog on that topic also.

When it's ripe you can eat the seeds inside the cardamom without crunching the seed . It's sweet and pleasing😚🥰

That's different variety, ours is large (black cardamom), it flowers from base of stem.

Yes we sell to a broker. We can't dry without smoking otherwise it will perish within few days.

Large cardamom can be grown by separating the sucker plant and planning in a new place. It grows in hilly region of altitude of approximately 1500 metres.
