Great video Richard It's really good to see what goes on behind the scenes to bring food or in this case oil to the table so interesting. As you can tell I'm not a farmer and until I found your vlog didn't know anything what went on in the country side,so thank you for that really interesting stuff you put out. It's great to see Harry so interested in whats going on too, thats the future right in front of us. Great work Richard, keep it up as long as you can. Take care be safe

We used to grow OSR 'back in the day,' then it was swathed with a Shelborne Reynolds swather when it was still green, then picked up by the combine off a longish stubble. Then it wasn't such a black gold, been used more for animal feed, before the health benefits of it were realised.

Yet another throughly enjoyable video. Thanks for posting. If Harry's interested in learning more about the arable side of farming I suggest he subscribes to It's a farming life for me or Harry's Farm channels there harvesting at the moment and it very informative.

really interesting. I always wondered how oilseed was processed so this has been great. what a huge operation tho. just out of interest, will that drying setup process any crop or is it just for oilseed?
@michaelsparke28112 жыл бұрын
The cleaner and dryer chain will do any arable crop but you'd have to alter some calibrations and speeds.
@paulmiller88862 жыл бұрын
Would all this be video proof in event Harry needs proof of internship hours?

Hi Richard question for you. Is oil seed rape expensive to sow?
@chriswilloughby52952 жыл бұрын
I hear some small bags of seed cost like £280 pounds, so it can be expensive yeah
@b26172 жыл бұрын
