At 28:00 in the video thats the way to do it.Ive done massive heaps with fertilizer & as big with sand & cement & thats the way its done.Pour them all into a heap & shovel from the ground to the new heap beside it & pour from the top like he did so the lumps fall out to the sides so you can get rid of or smash up to smaller particles & get a smoother well mixed pile.The young women tried to do well & it was good but she had never really done it b4 imo Here in Australia we would use a cement mixer but thats not the case here but after mixing this dry mix i would have mixed it in batches in the wheelbarrow but haveing form work around the area i was going to pour the slab.But i suppose ppl do stuff different everywhere.Throwing hay into the mix can help binding but we use mesh to stop the cement/concrete from cracking apart so it lasts longer.
