This is the local type of canary birds in my region, the Harz-moountains with very old tradition. The poor miners and lumberjacks breeded them since 1648. A lot of families and famous breeders became experts and gave them a value. Highly recommended where this very pretty nice singers a part of their daily life and their export reaches until the German settlers in Amerika, helps them to earn money to escape hunger and poverity. So lovely birds and friends at home I can tell you, enjoying me in my lifetime. In the Town Sankt Andreasberg exist a very interesting museum espacially for ,,Harzer Roller". Good luck around...
