Well, yes, of course it did. And so will the Elder Scrolls 6 delay fallout 5. And then fallout 5, and the Elder Scrolls 6 will delay Starfield 2. It's kind of how it works. I wish bethesda would separate their team's so that all these games could be in production at the same time instead of having to wait one after the other.

Given the direction Microsoft is going with all the game studios they own and dictating the content of the games ... I'm not feeling good about this.

Fallout 5 is 2030 so put that out of your mind, upside is it shouldn’t suck as bad as 4.

Hold on! Seeing how bad was space fallout....i really dont have high hopes. And frankly, if they dont use a better and newer engine, it will be a flop. Creatio. Sucks. Its from the 90's and is full of stupid limitation. They need a better and newer engine. I CANNOT accept thise shitty animation. Dude...have you seen how UGLY and blocky noc are in Starfield??? It looks like a game from LAST GEN. And the gun fight....100% a miss. No depth. And they reused the same blocky menu that were in windows 3.1....i mean fallout 76. They throw you in an empty space because "space is empty" the planet have the same layout/point of interest. With remnant of human passage...when you are discovering a new planet never seen before....and guess what? You build a settlement....straight from fallout 4....which was its weakest point. I AM NOT PLAYING THE SIM! I AM PLAYING A POST APOCALYPTIC RPG!! Bethesda lost its ways. They need to reinvent themselves instead of recycling their old trick. Because they are going to be the rambling granpa fr9m the game industry. There will ALWAYS have a market for sandbox. And they are the only ones who make those huge sandbox. Its not a reason to make a lame and lazy one.

Bethesda dropped the puck with. Starfield. Its their old engine, with fallout system incorporated, but with a worse story and emptier world. They need to use A BETTER AND NEWER ENGINE, and then STOP recycling all that boring stuff they implement in their older game. I could do less with thise blocky meny, and settlement building. Also, playing a squirrel simulator is not fun. I dont have a hoarding disorder and scrounging for scraps in someone else garbage is not my idea of fun. Fallout out is not about scavenging a destroyed world...

Yeah. It's time for them to stop pretending that being a small team makes their games better. That was a perk in the beginning but now they are too ambitious to keep doing it.

I’m not sure that would help them. In Bethesda games the reason they feel so disconnected at times is because each developer work on a quest. It’s why when you join the UC Navy, Freestar Rangers or Crimson Fleet, it barely effects other aspects of the game. It’s because they’re having people work independently on Starfield which makes it feel much less coherent than past Bethesda titles. Also they’re using a lot of mechanics from Fallout 76 which is like… Why???

Fallout 5 might never happen. Given their current track record if Elderscrolls 6 isnt a masterpiece then Bethesda will have lost all their fanbases good will

Or the fact that an actual nuclear war might happen. In the very unlikely possibility that society still functions the way it does now, anything involving nukes or nuclear war would probably be heavily censored just like any mention of 9/11 after the fact.
