Peter is 100% someone who used to be bullied and has bad selfesteem from it that he tries to compensate by speaking like he’s confident in his abilities, dressing very posh, putting a lot of care into the food. Because in the end he just wants to be liked and every single time he puts so much energy into something and he doesn’t win he takes it personally Or it could be nothing like that at all and you just got a little story from me there I’m tired

Even though I know it was 2016, everything in my brain is denying it. I was living in the UK in 2016 and noone looked like that. The women’s straightened hair and overly-plucked eyebrows, the upturned collar, the cinematography, or whatever it’s called when it’s a TV program!…it’s giving 2008, tops.

Lol! My mom was on Come Dine With Me Canada. The only direction they give is “be yourself x 100”. So if you have a thought, don’t filter it. In fact, double down on it. It is quite entertaining.

@@drewhempwood2113 I’m Australian and have been told Guzman y Gomez made the most authentic Mexican takeaway food here, so hearing the commentary from Hasan was funny. I’ve made Mexican foods at home but still have no clue if I’m making things like they are done in Mexico. I know I like my Mexican-inspired food regardless, but maybe Mexicans would feel insulted by it idk

@@drewhempwood2113 if I found out I was making enchiladas “wrong” I would not change anything because it’s one of the most delicious meals I’ve made lol. Maybe they’d just be offended in the same way I’m “offended” when foreigners online try a Tim Tam slam but with a cold beverage thinking the point is just to use the Tim Tam as a straw. It’s not that what they’re doing is bad or genuinely offensive but I just want them to know how good it is to have a proper Tim Tam slam if they’re going to try it. I don’t actually care if someone just prefers it with cold milk, but it’s a little frustrating to watch people try and judge it not understanding they’re doing it wrong. So maybe the Mexicans would see me enjoying a delicious meal and think “she has no idea how much better her meal could be and it’s frustrating”. If they feel personally insulted though then that seems kinda weird.

While my parents were on a cruise to the US, and during their entire stay there, they noticed the same thing quite regularly. A lot of Americans dont know how to use cutlery 😅

They do have other weird habits like first cutting with the fork in the left hand then putting down the knife and switching the fork to the right hand to pick up the pieces, it's so inefficient I don't get it lol. Also they apparently found it interesting that my mom used a spoon when twirling spagetti on a fork. Americans are very interesting to say the least.

the way he keeps completely misinterpreting what they said in this video is honestly getting on my nerves a tiny bit. jane said "its not complex but tasty" meaning its tasty DESPITE it being plain. shes not saying its tasty because its plain. the blonde girl said "i like cheddar. i dont like grown up cheese" meaning she doesn't like the pecorino. she wasn't calling it cheddar. she was saying she prefers cheddar.

Alright im gonna have to hate on hasan for a bit. The worst of american food is actally just somthing like mayo and olives and then call it a salad. Just exponentially worse than the wordt of the uk, which is like unseasoned meat and potatoes or something. Also, the not seasoning thing is definitely heavily present in the usa.. although the uk def has some bad food, its at least self made with actual ingredients.. he thinks its impossible to make pizza and burrito's in the uk? Because there are no ingredients? And there are apperenly no mexicans at all? Like what? His opinions on other countries are always so bad.. makes for good content though, keep it up!
