It’s definitely not “Galaxyland” anymore. They should change the name back to “Fantasyland” as it was back in the 1980’s. Much more suited for their rides and themes now.

The My Little pony world has a name. It's named Equestria. Just wanted to add that bit of info.

Now that I've seen what the newly rethemed park looks like all thanks to this awesome video, I am just so excited to finally come back! And next month when it's my birthday, I'll be coming here for sure! I can't wait to experience Galaxyland again :)

And this is why it was so nuts yesterday lol. Took the kids to West Edmonton Mall to get out of the house. It was their first time going and remembering. Saw the line up for Galaxyland and I told them we'd come back another day when it wasn't so busy. Probably didn't help that yesterday there were a ton of sales and it was the last day for the two park pass for $60

My favorite so far is the Balloons. I wish they colored each balloon in the color of that pony. Only the Pinkie Pie one makes sense. I love that they put an actual Rainbow Dash in there. I like the thumbnail of this video hehe. I wonder if the other 5 main ponies are going to be in there in random places in the park too soon. I hope so!

I hope one day they find a better spot for the flying galleon and replace it with a more intense ride that actually utilizes the space above the ceiling like the solar flare did.

The Zero Gravity re-theme is really cool!

I’m going to galaxyland in two weeks. It’ll be the first time I’ve been there in almost 5 years. I can’t wait to see how much it’s changed. zero gravity didn’t even exist when I was there last, now it’s already getting a new theme and name 😂

Those repainted rocks look like mountains from My Little Pony so it's possible that is now/will be an extension of the ride area.

Thanks for covering this as usual! I love all the history you added to this unveiling. I'm glad they kept the classic balloons and simply updated them. I especially love the rainbow dash themed drop! Both are great re-themes. Simple yet eye catching and do a good job of capturing the theme for the show. The mural of Equestria in the background is also awesome!! I look forward to them revealing the names that fans choose!

Thanks Matt...I love the new updates. Especially the back wall behind the balloons and the top of The Galaxykids Mountain. In a way it's very reminiscent of the 1983 Fantasyland themes only more colourful and 21st century 3D like. Can't wait to see the new theme on The Galaxyland Express. They are doing a bangup awesome job with The Hasbro Themes. I couldn't agree more; Galaxyland was in need of a refresh. This fulfills that need perfectly. Mmmmm..now i'm craving some Apple Jacks

Thees new changes aren't as bad I was honestly worried about I liked how there are changes but its not an entirely new park. But for me Its sad to see the airplanes go I hope we get them back or if they don't return an auction would be neat i'd buy one if I had the cash When your a small kid weight and height restriction do kinda dampen the amusement park fun when all your friends can go on the big rides But the Plane ride was always there for me to ride on. So I hope that ride is just getting renovated and not gone forever maybe they will make it a transformers theme? You could do a lot with that one they have all kinds of planes and spaceships. I'm really surprised there was no carousel did they get rid of it? I was expecting it to be my little pony themed because like how can you not?

I really loved the old games and the old rides. The water shooting game, turned into a dice game, the galaxy express re-painted to grey, the Balloon race with new colours, I just really miss the old Galaxyland rides, and games. I really hate this update because it changed my childhood a bit. Fantasyland And Galaxyland we're way more better. If the mascot cosmo the alien has changed then... My childhood is fully ruined.
