Problem with legacy is that it used the really crappy molds of the 2010 version. I actually sold my Legacy stuff years ago save on space and I have never since found a need to get them back. I do have the original mech from both American and Japanese releases so that kinda did alleviate the need for them. I still do want to get a proper Dragon Caesar and King Brachion one of these days though. The positive thing though for this ZAP version is that it's pretty articulated and a somewhat cheaper(all things considered) and will be more readily available than the SoC release. The Legacy Megazord was a brick with diecast that used a really crappy Zord Builder mold.

@@lanoche Well to each it's own! You are right for one thing about the legacy dino : too heavy and far from perfect when combining with other sets. Vintages ones are better! Lucky you to have a clean Dino Megazord!!! But I never had the chance to get it when I was a kid. And when I started building a collection in 2015, finding a good Vintage Dino, DragonZord or Titanus was almost impossible. So I started collecting the legacy line since it was available. I paid it 60 bucks at Gamestop in 2015 (second run with stickers already applied and better knees). So it was pretty good considering the price. I paid 40 $ for the legacy dragonzord in 2018 (Gamestop clearance) and 100$ bucks for Legacy Titanus at Toys R Us (clearance too). Considering I paid 200$ for a complete Ultrazord, I think paying 180 just for the ZAP with soso paint app and light plastic (my opinion of course) is not worth it in my situation. But i'll give kudos for the ZAP for articulations and style! Oh and sorry for my english! Not my first language!!

That's why I plan to keep my preorder, yes, I had hoped for more, but if we want to see more installments in the ZAP product line like Astro Megazord, we have to show support and also provide Hasbro with vocal feedback letting them know where and how they underdelivered this time around. To be completely honest, if I were Hasbro, I would have recruited the help of Takara Tomy's Masterpiece team as that is what this line should be for PR Megazords and what I suspect many of us had hoped for in terms of quality.

The issue is very cheap, i.e., low-quality plastic, was used. No need to be die-cast like SOC but it makes it not worth that much

Surprise - a toy that cost nearly half as much as a SOC doesn't look as good. I'd argue it's pretty great for what it brings to the table. Very similar transformation to the SOC, and all your really missing out on is die-cast and a little extra paint. I kinda dig the extra sculpted details and transluscent parts, it helps it stand out should anyone want to display it with previous Megazords (like the original, the legacy, and the SOC) like I'm thinking I may.

The Dino Fury Megazords are Amazing, Better then anything Bandai of America ever did.

@@IamEchelon Clearly you don't remember the atrocity that was Ninja Steel. The mainline zords have been the best they have in almost a decade. I have them and while there's some QC, they're very accurate but still having added detail to make 'em somewhat stylized and aren't missing a crazy amount of paint. The articulation is great, namely with Ptera Freeze with the nimble design translating pretty well, and they're all pretty affordable, being $25 per pack. You may not give jack shit, but c'mon. It's been really good so far at the very least.

For the price definitely looks cheap. Sad but it honestly does.

I had the SOC Voltron and Daizyujin a few years back, compared to voltron it was not the best. Honestly, if I can buy one of these once or twice a year and it does everything I’d want a megazord to do, I’m happy. You can question why fans pay for low quality, but honestly, Japanese stuff I get price gouged so much worse. I can get this for the equivalent cost of 2 Figuarts and buy it from a local retailer, seems decent to me.

The right side of his head (our right) was not only missing paint, but it didn't click in all the way.that alone makes me not want to get it. Hasbro is known for their QC issues
