Just a couple of years ago Hasbro put out the Nevarro Cantina playset from The Mandalorian for purchase at retail in the range of $60. Granted, it did not have any modular alcoves, but with only two of the sets in hand, a fan could set up a decent diorama display. So I have trouble understanding how Hasbro can justify such an egregiously high price of $400 to $500 for this Mos Eisley Cantina set that does not even include a floor or any lights / electronic effects. Consequently, I will most likely end up passing on this HasLab even though the concept for it was a good one.

Other cups will just be empty and generic, the ones coming with the figs will be just like the ones that cane with the 30th anniversary collection figures and the legacy collection figures. They will be colored for specific figures, and those are the ones to use for those figures

@WalksandTalks2023 Where the band played was NOT at Elstree Studios, England where the Cantina was filmed. It was shot on a soundstage in Hollywood, so the band isn't really in the Cantina at that time. This was discussed in documentaries on the making of the film.

Haslab team: If I'm going to back this, I need to be able to purchase two sets of figures, one for display in the playset and another carded, and I'm certainly not buying two playsets to do that. Make the figures available later to all customers, so we're not stuck in this dilemma, thanks!

I bought the HasLab Vintage Collection Moss Isley Cantina base set. Today I am seriously considering buying the deluxe set also. I asked everybody to come on and hurry up and buy it today so it is worth the money when we reach all three tiers. It will never be produced again. You won't be able to buy it new complete sealed in box for this price again. Also you do not have to display all of it at once or on the same shelf if size is a concern because it is modular. If the side of 3 pods extra cost $100 then the bar and entryway alone are $300, and I fundamentally cannot justify that cost. Especially without this thing even having a floor.

Given that it's such a high-end item, the modular parts/Alcove walls should be weathered/textured on both sides, (ie including the curved archway entrances on both sides of the bar). Front and Back, so outside/extended dioramas can be set-up and displayed.

It’s so obvious most dislikes & hate for this Haslab is from people who have no personal attachments to this Cantina or the OT, and I fully get it - I didn’t care at all about the Ghost yet I love the Rebels series from the start - but I did’t cry and whine “it’s not OT rrreeeeee” like a selfish spoiled brat… - Patience pays off, it did for me for this most excellent representation of the Cantina, for which I’ve been waiting 20 years for. I never imagined they would actually do this. To all Star Wars fans: Hasbro listens to all fans, every one gets their candy one day or another. Enjoy the anticipation and desire, it’s what it’s all about

I feel ya, I kind of wish they had a spot for the band but I feel ya. Take your limelight it’s here and I backed it with ya, even the deluxe edition. I have a 3d printed one but it’s not the same as the Hasbro. 😊 hopefully we get all our tiers!

This one really needs lights and sound - and dry ice. And a floor and a roof. And a place to put the band that lights up and plays the tunes. Push another button somewhere else that makes the alien noises and other classic dialog/sound effects. This can be built into the bar. The lights I can probably fudge except for the table lanterns but I need the sound! That should be easy as it's just a sound box in the bar and the stage. The stuff you use to do for a lot less $ back in the day.

That outer wall is unfinished, it should come with more parts to finish the outer wall/exterior of the cantina. Furthermore that brown door leads to nothing now, it should be able to open and have a room/space behind it for a certain spy to hide in. Last but not least, add lights to the bar and include small battery powered LED's that we can put into the tables. For the price it should have more parts IMHO.

Wow. This is the least exciting haslab. The Cantina is so barren. Maybe release each of these figures as a deluxe figure each with a piece of the cantina and we can build our own. That would be more fun than plopping a bucket load of money for some beige walls and grey chairs.

I like your idea - - Hasbro already did something similar about 15 to 20 years ago, releasing various individual cantina alien figures, each with a piece of the bar and a stool (albeit not as film accurate), for purchase at regular retail stores. I still have most of them plus my Wuher bartender figure from the late 1990's Power Of The Force line. I will probably just be satisfied with what I already have rather than pay for this grossly overpriced HasLab. (It would have been nice to finally get the Tonnika Sisters, but I can live without them.)

Apparently, people missed the part where they literally say in the video that Wuher and the sisters will not be offered outside of this Haslab. All others will eventually be released on non-exclusive cardbacks. If true, this will be the first. Figures from all other Haslabs have eventually made it to mainline on new cardboards. This could truly be an exclusive "Dream Project" that Haslab was founded on. It's possible that was part of the licensing deal for the sister's likeness.

I mean, let’s look at base level figures offered with previous Haslabs: -Sailbarge: Yak was offered later. Point there. -Razorcrest: Im unsure about that Mando sculpt, but the cape was exclusive; Grogu and Jawa were released but had exclusive accessories and cards. Ghost: That Hera is locked up; and so far that Ezra, Kanan, and Zeb are as well. I doubt we ever get a shot at blind Kanan out of the Ghost. Seems fair that base is included and tiers can be rereleased in modified forms, be that sculpts or cards. I was hoping this Greedo would be an exclusive smoking blaster shot version and vs Nabrun and Arliel they did Chall Bekan and one of the Duros and Nabrun and the other Duroncoming mainline.

The really obscure aliens figures could take more than 10 years if ever re-done at all - The last Nabrun Leids came out 19 years ago in 2005, in the SAGA series transition from 2004 OTC. The last Greedo was 17 years ago in 2007 in the VTSC series. I’ve been there from the start with TVC since 2010, but never thought we’d ever see Nabrun Leids or that other Haslab Sivrak in TVC collection.

This is a great set. I really liked the three included figures. Think that’s a nice touch. I’d like the tier options. What I don’t like is giving us only 30 days to try to back this and then you want us to go ahead and get 17,000 people in 30 days for three additional figures. Every other one of these crowd funds got two or maybe three months except for the sale barge and I think you extended that I’m not sure. Considering extending it so that other people can go ahead and look at their finances and determine do they have the money for a $424 toy. Thank you.

Ehhh I’m not a Star Wars collector so this obviously isn’t for me, but just looking at it this seems like a nightmare to keep track of. So many bits and pieces to lose. Imagine trying to resell on the future. Having to count every single cup every time to ensure you don’t lose any seems like such a chore. Idk that we needed that many cups lol. I know some people have asked for diorama pieces in the past, we’re about to see if those people truly meant that. Overall, this seems like something someone could’ve just 3D printed. Something tells me this won’t fund. Seems like something that took the design team a lot of effort, but was just unnecessary. Who knows though. Gonna be fun to watch. Edit: $400???? I thought this would be like $200. No way this funds 😂.

My daughter has tried to back this several times but the site doesn't seem to like her credit card it's not working and rejected her payment and she's called the Bank and they said everything is fine with her card as she. LAME... this could be a general release or do it like Jaba's / Fett's throne room (even that was overpriced). If you are going to do a "playset" at least redo the freaking Death Star! Fans want SHIPS!! Could you not do Quenn Amidala's ship from Phantom Menace since the movie's anniversary is this year? How about Dash Rendar's Outrider? The Bad Batch's ship? As much as a Queen Amidala ship, fully chromed out, would be an amazing thing of beauty - and I also love the prequels it brought me back to Star Wars - I honestly doubt it would fund on a Haslab, and it would never be released in stores as not enough demand there for expensive playsets & large ships. The Death Star as a playset is a MUST for Haslab to do, and I know they know it, and believe it will be done eventually. I want it just as bad.

It's not allowing my daughter to back this on her credit card as it's not accepting the payment from her and she called the Bank and they said everything was fine with her card but she's tested it on eBay today and it worked on eBay but not for the backing and we're both in the UK but UK you tibers have backed it fine so I won't be getting this

Potf2 started almost thirty years ago. Kenner/Hasbro had more than enough time to get the sisters out, but instead they chose to rip off and kept up fans and collectors. Now you are forced to get the figures with an excessively overpriced and unfinished playset. Just pathetic.

Maybe as a future pipeline figure? They mentioned Han, Luke, Chewie, and Ben, so Boshek is the last one from that group...

As with the Sail Barge, after it was released quite a few figures related to it were released, including some TVC re-releases. I expect figures like Hammerhead (very likely since made in BS), BoShek & a Duros. The Band too hopefully, I’ve been waiting for it since 2010 when TVC started. And I assume we will see a remake of Ponda Baba & Evazan, if not a repack.
