I feel like it was a way to introduce the slayers to the Infinite Palace, which I actually really loved (and yeah, to showcase the two hashira that don’t get an arc spotlight, but that seems like the lesser point of interest)

Funny enough the whole sanemi and obanai intro was anime only so the choice to draw the demons as henchmen fodder was probably from the studio and it’s really my only complaint. Maybe if it was explained to be a demon blood technique it would work.

It does not need to be a blood demon art as those demons do exist in the manga. They appear in the Infinity Castle arc when it first starts on chapter 140 alongside other random weird demon designs. They are most likely demons who could not handle getting more of Muzan's blood and lost themselves to the hunger and are basically fodder to kill regular slayers and slow down the Hashira. That chapter is also when you first see Obani's breathing style as well. The fifth form which is seen here is used by him in that chapter funnily enough.

Considering i think shonen jump didn't give the author room for more in the last two arcs, so similar to Bleach, I love that the anime is going to do a lot more coming up. We are so back. And we manga readerw can't wait to anime onlys reaction to what the mark does later on, it will be something.

I mean I understand Sanemi’s action even before revealing his backstory. He is a “hashira/demon slayer” for a reason, while Giyu on the other hand is so unconsiderate during this time.He want to quit the Corps just because he feels like he is not worth of being a hashira?(His backstory is nothing compared to most of the hashira) and specially during this times where the master needed them the most. besides he got mad to Tanjiro for not mastering the water breathing and still he wants Tanjiro to replace him as the water pillar. I agree to Sanemi his “I’m not like you guys” attitude is annoying af. Wants to quit the corps while their master is dying. 🫠

@@tobiasfelix724 That dosen't justify them for holding down Tanjiro and Sanemi stabbing Nezuko without asking questions first or waiting on their Master to help deal with the situation, don't go around stabbing other people's sisters when she wasn't a threat to you before you tried to kill her/it's brother. And I'm saying that not everybody is gonna have the same respect, the same morals, the same personality, you might not like the way how someone is acting but what you gonna do try to change a person like the Hashira's that have all been through something not happening. And a person backstory not being "as serious" as the other hashira's has nothing to do with their personality. Everyone handles their life differently than others, someone could live the same life as Sanemi and not act all hot headed sometimes, some people might live the life of Mitsuri and can be hot headed like Sanemi etc etc.

@@darksoulempire4477They're not accustomed to our reality man for you to say that “threat” thing since they are living in the world with demons. Sanemi's actions make sense, especially when we are watching from Tanjiro's perspective. The corps might find Tanjiro's claims unbelievable or farfetched since they've never encountered demons like that before. The fact that he didn't immediately kill Nezuko speaks volumes about his character. Criticizing Sanemi for his actions just becuase he landed a hit to Nezuko while ignoring similar actions by Shinobu and Kanao seems biased. I recall that Giyu nearly ended Nezuko's life once, but he reconsidered upon discovering her remaining human qualities. It's similar to the actions of the Hashira or Sanemi. He ceased violence against Nezuko when she rejected his blood. It goes to show that everyone requires tangible proof to believe. And, just as you mentioned, "everyone handles their life differently than the other." So, what's Giyu's valid reason for leaving the corps? Despite being a hashira for years, he doesn't see himself as one and wants to quit when they're needed most. Their master is literally DYING and this time they need to act as one because of the alternative occurences. and thats why he’s kinda annoying because the way he handle his life is not right during those times.

Demon Slayer is super deep and intricate though. Thousands of small details and little things all over the story and characters to analyze. The themes are powerful, delved into and touched upon everywhere in very subtle, beautiful ways. It's got endless rewatchability since you're noticing new depth every time you didn't notice the first time around. While I'm sure certain details were added later, the series was planned out throughly by the author from start to finish. She has taken great care in doing so. And it can certainly be seen clearly from the work itself. I think you've got the wrong idea here.

@@csw_kr3963 well it’s really just a matter of opinion and taste I like the story and read the manga before the anime ever came out, yes the animation is a BIG part of why it’s so popular but to some people it means different things the music, the story, The Animation, it’s what makes it so popular/ even if it didn’t have all the hype it would still be loved it may not be everyone’s favorite but it’s what got me into anime so it will always have a special place in my heart❤ anyway! Tnx Carson, i like the viewpoint, and i agree that it's just an enjoyable show, but i don't like people strapping their boots and rolling infront of people saying that DS is the best anime, at best it is good, it's theme is basic but done well, people just have to realize that for it's theme it's a good storytelling, and nothing more.

Personally I believe when people say its simple it looks down on the amount of symbolism and effort the author put into the story. Its not as deep as others, but I feel its unfair to the author to say its simple and brain dead. I agree with your comment otherwise.

People bitch that it's the best and it's just not, I also read the manga, and to say that it's disrespectful to the author is disingenuous, cause anyone can make a story and still range from terrible to okay to good to one of the best, taking account to an author creators hard work however empathetic is just disingenuous, it's like saying a movie is good due to the expenses it had and the number of team behind it, a finish product can't be simply judged due to the human nature of empathy.

Bro me as sometime who has read manga,fanbook,databooks and novel is will definately tell you that sanemi is the 2nd most powerful hashira of current gen .
