Argentina had "massive" inflation. There is a chart that shows inflation around the world after covid, it was high everywhere. The U.S. went from 8% to 3% now, 2% is ideal. If Trump is SO amazing why is nobody in his cabinet endorsing him?

Really? 300% inflation is "turned things around"? As for that getting rid of gov't jobs, I'm curious as to what percentage of the federal budget goes to the salaries of gov't employees. From looking at various google answers, at least 70% of federal spending is in the form of direct transfers to persons and businesses (social security, interest, medicare, veterans pensions, and many others). I didn't find a direct answer, but it does look like most of the money -- not that it should be -- is not just going to employees. Suffice to say, it's a lot more complicated than blanket statements from podcasting pundits.

True, With Trump there was deficit spending all passed by Congress. All the political parties spend money we don't have. Difference with Trump and Biden is where and how it was spent. Trump deregulated and removed rules, along with lower corporate rates of tax. Biden with his green agenda economy put a whole new level of regulations on everything, driving up costs. This caused lower productivity, this along with massive money printing caused inflation. Regulations and abruptly changing an economy from fossil to green is the reason.
@joelewis4336
@joelewis4336 17 күн бұрын
Congress spent that money. They had the corrupt media saying trump was killin people and not wanting to help them. @@darthjimmy7882 Wrong that’s not how that works. Wage growth is a factor of inflation. It doesn’t have to exceed inflation to cause inflation. Your lack of basic economics understanding is astounding. You really should comment when you don’t understand the subject. Wage growth causes inflation because the cost of producing goods and services goes up. Thus increasing costs to the consumer. Yes government spending has cause inflation, but so has wage growth, especially the artificial accelerated growth post Covid.

@@darthjimmy7882 That’s not what I said. Wages are PART of the issue. The other part is our deficit spending and this administration’s war on fossil fuels has more to do with energy related inflation than the war in Ukraine. Realistically if you look at oil prices they really aren’t that high though. So our government printing trillions of extra dollars a year is a bigger culprit. But LOTS of things factor into inflation. Stop acting like it’s simple. Your original argument was wages have nothing to do with inflation, now you’re shifting your argument.
