노래가...슬픈게 들리는게 먼가 예은이의 가족사이야기도 있는듯해서 더 슬프게 들림 6살,12살, 15살 힘든가족이야기같음..아저씨가 아버지같고 18살은 데뷔할때이고 헤어진여인한테 하는말 처럼 들리기도했고 가사가 현재 예은이가 아빠땜에 여론도 안좋고 상처도 받은상태여서 일부러 자기삶을 가사로 보여주는듯......물론 제 갠적생각입니다

My guess is that the old woman or wife of the grandpa died but the grandpa with dementia re lives the memory of her through reading her (or his ) diary. One of the memory from the diary is of his wife with him in a clean apartment well taken care of, also showing through various ages theyve grown old together but in reality he is all alone in a poor dingy apartment, not properly taken care of, with his mind lost completely in another world . And Yeeun is a thirdparty who notices the old guy and helps him and reads to him the diary.

새신발을 듣고 또 그 밑에 또다른 신곡이 있어서 무심코 봤어요. 끝나자마자 요즘들어서 이렇게 운적이있나 할정도로 울었던것같아요. 아차하면 순식간에 영상의 모든일들에 의미를두게되고 감정이 거슬러올라와 제것이 되버려서, 익숙했던 일들이지만 이번 노래나 영상에나오는 이야기들 너무 멋지고 슬픈것같아요. 아리송한 뮤직비디오로 남기고 해석은 하고싶지않네요. 피쳐링도 음악도 목소리도 다 너무 좋았어요. 다음 노래도 기대하고있겠습니다.

My interpretation of the MV: The book he's reading details his past that was written by the wife. Now that they're both old, he misses the past, as his current life is boring and bland (supported by the bland interior colours and furniture inside the house). He becomes obsessed with the past, leading him to not be present in reality. This creates further separation and pain for the wife, as she's left caring for a husband that's become separated from reality, which explains why she cannot get his attention. You can also interpret this as a metaphor for Alzheimer's, from old age. This is why halfway through the MV, both actors turn young and you see them passionately dancing and loving each other, as we enter the grandpa's internal thoughts. We then understand why he's thinking of the past, because it was a much more passionate and exhilarating life. This then cuts back to old grandpa, and he only has the attention of the wife when she's young (as a child). Maybe that's when they first met, and they decide to play and dance, maybe like they did when they were both children. Finally, this cuts to the present, where the house is destroyed and he's dancing alone in his own thoughts. It shows that because the grandpa was so obsessed with the past, he was never aware of the present, and thus cannot comprehend that his current life has become a mess because he's so unaware. We don't see the grandma anymore, hinting she's passed away and he isn't even aware of it. Or, maybe the MV is simply a tragic story of a grandpa recalling his past relationship with his wife that's now currently dead, and he's off in his own imagination missing her. I guess it's a tragic story of an elderly couple, and what old age and reminiscing of the past could lead to.

Yeeun has always been driven and hardworking and assertive when it came to music, but she definitely went through a difficult learning process as she matured with her musicality. She now knows exactly who she is and is completely unapologetic about it. I've been her fan for 10 years, and I actually want to cry because of the positive response to her solo music (although it took a lot of time for people to warm up to her). I'm so happy and relieved that people are finally noticing her passion and sincerity ❤️
