In this AU, Hailey is manipulative and was planning to do something to the club after the competition. She trash talks about how pathetic the club are and wants see them suffer. On a certain morning Jake receives a threat letter, saying he should leave the club and commit himself. He asked the music club however each member denied it, expect for one member, the club president. The club had suspicion on Hailey since when Jake asked about the threat letter she stuttered and tries hide it.
The club came up with plan to find Hailey secrets. They all agreed to take part in. The first step of the plan began at lunch, Zander’s job was rummage through Hailey’s belongings while Luke’s job was to keep Hailey distracted from finding out about Zander as long as he can. Zander found Hailey’s journal she keeps with her and he knows that he can’t look through but he had to do what he had to do.
The secret meeting in the video is when after rehearsals were finished, Hailey left early because of some plans and didn’t notice her journal was stolen by Zander. All of music club (expect Hailey) met up and discussed Hailey’s actions. When they skim through the journal, they found an entry about the threat letter. When they figured out it was indeed Hailey’s hand writing. They also found entries about themselves and they were negative things. There was also a audio file sent to them about Hailey being a backstabber.
Jake went to the principals office and told the principal about Hailey’s actions and the principal told Jake that he will be the new club president for the music club and will handle the threat letter. He was happy and on the same day Jake kicked Hailey out because of the way she talk about the her fellow members and friends.
