Great looking truck, I have a gt and have plans to have same set up. Only question is what headers did u go with to keep the front diff and shaft from touching?

I thought it really strange that the interviewer seemed blown away that it has a 4l60e transmission. Mind blown about that but not so much about the 427 stuffed in it. Weird *edit* I just noticed that he's perplexed by the transmission in the video description too. I think this interview guy has bad luck with his transmissions or something

The Hated Syclone is outrageous for a lot of reasons including the 427 engine. Here at Sonnax, we make the best performance transmission components on the market. Our excitement having to do with this is about the most demanding application for the 4L60E transmission imaginable. 900+ HP, 1,000 foot lbs of torque, all wheel drive and the truck is dragged, autocrossed and road raced! There are many folks out there that doubt the 4L60E transmission’s strength. By showcasing this extreme truck, we are proving that the 4L60E transmission is very capable performance transmission. I completely agree. For all that was changed on this truck, why not just start with a 4WD truck, instead of destroying a Syclone? I'm not a purist, by any means. But, improve on whats there, not destroy the soul of what it is. This is the same thing as people putting V8s in Grand Nationals. At that point it becomes just another V8 Regal.

no 4.3 v6 turbo inter cooler means no Syclone. It is a zombie.

Should have gone to a 4l80E. The 700r4 and the later 4l60e are just junk with that much power and AWD.

RUINED THAT SYCLONE!!!! YOU COULD HAVE DONE THAT WITH ANY S-10 OR S-15!!!!!!!! V6 TURBO COULD HAVE DID THAT HORSEPOWER!

sure the V6 could make the power but not reliably and at 2x the cost with a lot less torque.
