welcome back to another video, in this video we worked our way back from the bramwell corner store, covered in the last video..... we hit pocahontas trail 69 which is black but has gotten a lot worse... we then hit the stair steps near crumpler mountain and played around on the bypass trail below the stair steps.

Hey Jesse and crew, another awesome set of videos updating some of the changes down there in HMT. Love the Corner Store! Amazing food and ice cream! Was down there in April of 21. Need to get back there again. Also, wanted to comment on the the tire spinning that Scott has been having compared to you and your machines. I believe that all of you are running stock gearing and clutching? Those X3's can handle 32's without really any major changes but going up to 35's he's losing alot of torque and his low gear will not be as low as yours. So he's having to really throttle it more to get that machine moving as to where you're going to be able to crawl and creep easier. Best suggestion would be for him to look into like a 15-20% gear reduction at least. I. Addition a tuned clutch kit will really help. If he does have these things done already....well, then you just got a lot more finesse with your right foot....

I like your thoughts on the tire sizes but I’m thinking it’s an even match up for us in that aspect. My machine came with 28” bighorns stock. I went up 4 inches and I’m on stock clutches. Scott’s came with 32” tires and he went up 3 inches. Both still on stock clutches so I feel like that might equal out but definitely not sure on that haha. Maybe width, he’s wider. Different contact patch, more or less throttle. 🤷‍♂️

"The Crew" makes another video filled with great content !!! "New" trails being freshly groomed on the outlaw trails surrounding established HMT trails seems to be a fairly recent development. HMT, as you already know, has turned the Soggy Bottom outlaw trail into Indian Ridge Trail #28 with access on Crumpler Road and I would be willing to bet that more outlaw trails will soon be dozed/groomed for HMT annexation. Our small group rode the Creek Trail on Labor Day week of this year (2022) and there are already "new" trails being dozed while the best part(s) of it are being blocked with fallen trees. One of trails starts at Butterfly Junction.

I just put 32 zillas on mine last weekend and will take it for the first time Saturday. I’ve got 10psi in them right now but after watching this will probably air down a bit. We ride at Hidden Falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls Texas which is all rock with some pretty good climbs. If you ever come down I’ll show you around the park. Just bought the Skydio2+ to follow us around so we will see how fast I crash it😮😢

Awesome. Zillas are by far the best tire I’ve ever ran. I suggest 7-8 psi. That seems to be a sweet spot for me.

I had 30 inch carnavors at first and they spun alot with the horsepower in my buggy. But when I went to 35 zillas that tamed it a little so I have very little spin now, but everyone knows how well zillas stick. One question to you jess, isn't it time for the other woman in your life to start driving her own buggy up these trails? Just saying.

@garyiacopucci293 Жыл бұрын
@@TheCanAmCrew well of course I mean Emma. I think it would be so cool to see her behind the wheel, start small so YOU don't get worried, and you can get her on something so easy that you don't click the seat belt which puts the buggy in limp mode, reduce the power and cut her loose.

For West Virginia we use back country navigator pro app and bob t maps. The app is like 10-15.00 and the maps are free. You can find them on Facebook under the wv atv utv trail talk page. Look for a media fire link and follow the instructions for downloading.

Maybe some of the difference in spinning sometimes has to do with tire placement where his is 72" and is his maybe geared lower?
@TheCanAmCrew
@TheCanAmCrew Жыл бұрын
That’s possible. Tire placement could be part of it. All X3’s are geared the same other than the tire size difference between machines maybe making it a little off so I’m not sure if that would be it or not.

Maybe Scott was spinning because of the power difference and width. It looked like his right rear dipped lower and brought the left front up and lost traction that way? Just some thoughts.
