Sultan Suleiman gets poisoned...
When Hürrem learns about it, life turns into a nightmare for her. No one knows who has made an attempt on Suleiman's life. That's why Hürrem accuses İbrahim Pasha and Prince Mustafa. A note arrives to Manisa Palace. Sultana Mahidevran gets terrified when she reads what's written on the note. The war between Hürrem and İbrahim gets even bigger. Hürrem sets a trap for İbrahim.
As soon as Hürrem learns that Prince Mehmet will serve in sanjak, she directly goes to Suleiman. However, Hürrem finds Suleiman lying on the floor unconscious as she enters the privy chamber. She provides the doctor's intervention right away. Everyone gets terrified as it's learned that Suleiman has got poisoned.
Hürrem prays for Suleiman to get better. On the other hand, she has to protect her children. She thinks İbrahim and Mustafa have a finger in this. İbrahim gets seriously implicated and he has the bit in his teeth to enlighten this incident.
On the other hand, Manisa Palace gets agitated because of a note received. Mahidevran realizes that there is a spy in the palace. Mustafa's life is in danger. Yahya of Taşlıca starts to investigate it right away. The mysterious spy makes everyone lose their sleep in the palace.
As İbrahim investigates who has poisoned Suleiman, he finds out that Firuze is helped to get to Persian lands. Meanwhile, Hürrem has only one goal, which is to get rid of her nemesis. She sets up a trap that İbrahim rocked.

I agree. If she loved him so much, she would have stopped him from doing more stupid and selfish things. And if we say it's true that Hurrem had tried to create a rift between Suleiman and Ibrahim, Hatice would try to be a bridge between her brother and her husband

Why is everyone saying that everything that has happened was because of Hurrem. As I recalled from the series, Alexandra didn't want to be there in the palace and be part of the harem. She wanted to go home. She didn't speak the language and was told by Valide Sultana that she was there for the emperor. Hatice was there when she first arrived. She was told the only way to survive the palace was to accept her fate. She did that and became Hurrem. Their mistakes are her gain.

The interesting thing is, not only does Hurrem's conversation with her children mirror what the Valide said about Suleiman's decisions in the first episode, but it's probably the closest to what happened in the actual history---not understanding how Ibrahim's downfall came so suddenly and coaching her children not to call it into question with their father.

The main difference is that in real life Ibrahim was not married to Suleiman's sister. His real wife would have never confronted Hurrem. It is reported that when Ibrahim's actual wife came to the palace to see Suleiman, he refused to accept her, and went to join Hurrem in the harem.

@@hihishabbar8973 I agree. I personally consider it a needles situation which Hurrem brought to herself. She started causing trouble from day one: she doesn't follow the rules, she demands Suleiman's sole attention, she treats anyone close to Suleiman as if he's/she's stealing from her and wonders why she's so disliked. And after she rose to the position of Suleiman's wife, she turned vindictive. When it comes to Hatice now, I really liked when they were friends. Sadly, Ibrahim was against Hurrem and Hatice had to choose between them. The real turning point in their relationship though I think it was when Hurrem told Hatice about Ibrahim's infidelity. Honestly I don't know what she was thinking. What she was expecting; a thank you; a tearful breakdown and the seeking of comfort; knowing how volatile emotional and impulsive Hatice is Hurrem should have keep it to herself. Or leave leads for Hatice to follow that wouldn't link Hurrem to them.

@@hihishabbar8973 what I mean to say is that if she had kept her head down and her mouth shut (as she had the nerve to demand Bayazid to do so) and respected the rules of the harem, Valide wouldn't have any reason to be against her. If she could find some common ground between herself and Ibrahim out of love for Suleiman and Hatice, the war between them wouldn't happen. If she didn't demand Suleiman's sole attention and restricted herself only to Mehmet and Mirimah, she wouldn't have a colossal target on her and her son's backs. If she didn't insist on informing Hatice in person about Ibrahim's infidelity rather than simply leave keads for her to follow that wouldn't link Hurrem to them, Hatice wouldn't become from one of her few friends to one of her most persistent and infuriating enemies. Which means that sah and Fatma wouldn't interfere with this mess.

Blaming Hürrem is pointless. Ibrahim ended up dead because of his own scheming and hunger for power. Hatice made herself look like a fool for defending Ibrahim after cheating on her and not even being sorry that he knocked up his mistress.

Why? Didn't Beyhan's husband, the son-in-law Ferhat Pasha executed by Syleiman's orders? Syleiman made the same mistake many times. He should punish Ferhat, Ibrahim and Kara Ahmet (if he wanted so much), but he should have punished them with a different way. The execution wasn't the only way. But no, he executed them all, with the excuse that Hurrem was always loyal to Syleiman, in the time that she had already betrayed him. Otherwise why she burned the notebook, in which there was her betrayal? She was in love with Leo, even after she brought birth to Syleiman's children (Mehmet, Mihrimah and Selim). In this notebook, it was Hurrem's betrayal. She should be executed by Syleiman, not Ibrahim. Hurrem even heard the Councils in secret, so she should be executed for sure. She burned the notebook, because she wanted to protect herself thinking that: "If I been executed, then how I will betray Syleiman and how I will have one of my sons enthroned? Why Ibrahim or Ferhat or Prince Mustafa or Prince Beyazid deserved what happened to them? Mustafa was right: Syleiman should stop Hurrem from the very beginning and he shouldn't leave Hurrem to do whatever she wants and to sacrifice them in her tears. After all, wasn't it Syleiman himself, who said that the Empire couldn't be controlled by womens' tears? So why he was letting Hurrem cry and spill her tears, instead of sending her away? He should be shame. Hurrem as well and Rustem.

Everything is Hurrems fault. The Sultan took responsibility and still it’s Hurrems fault. No one wants to put the blame on Ibrahim. He said the things he said…even after many warnings. Yeah Hatice, even global warming is happening because of Hürrem too. As a sultana and all the power she possessed, she could easily learn how Ibrahim Pasha was going astray. She not only treated Ibrahim Pasha as a slave but also made Ibrahim Pasha cheat on her because of her psychotic doubts. And when she learned pasha was cheating on her, instead of showing him his place, she channeled all her energy into Nigar, Nigar's baby and Hurrem. If she would have admonished Ibrahim Pasha even 10% of the admonition she did to God, Hurrem, Suleiman, Nigar and literally everyone in this world, Ibrahim could have lived longer. But yeah, blaming others is much easier than looking within.

Ibrahim had dug his own grave because of his arrogance, even Suleiman with emotion had thought about executing Ibrahim a year earlier because he didn't want to see Ibrahim kill many more people. Perhaps Suleiman was also observing Ibrahim's movements secretly at that time.

Anything goes wrong? Blame hurrem for it 😥 Hatice forgot that she was the one who told the betrayal of ibrahim to his brother, yet she has no idea all the mistakes of ibrahim. Suleyman has kept all that matters in his mind. No matter how good ibrahim for him, the hiden betrayal is something he can't deal with.

Yeah yeah I get your pattern every tragedy is Hurrem’s fault. Even though in reality this time, she wasn’t responsible yet even Shah blame this on her. the only one who believed in Hurrem😕. Hurrem was as shocked as everyone else when the Pasha was executed. especially considering how irritated she was the other day at the Sultan and Ibrahim’s apparent close relationship at the Iftar. their years of absolute friendship came to an end due to Ibrahim’s recent arrogant behaviors

How delusional is Hatice? None of them are innocent. Everybody had to fight for their life. If Hatice had any sense, she should have urged Ibrahim to ally with Hurrem before he was defeated. With Valide dead, Mahi sent away, and Hurrem being the legal wife with 2 healthy sons, the tide has clearly turned. But Hatice refused to adapt, so she was swept away.

He asked for her forgiveness and to put the past behind. To start over essentially. I totally understand Hurrem's situation here. I work in search and rescue and disaster relief as the Team #2&3 Medical Sergeant. When people die, especially children due to bad decisions (drugs, alcohol, fights, immaturity and much more) it's extremely common for the loved ones to place the blame upon anyone except for the deceased or themselves.... It's usually us they focus on. When my cousin (a girl who i was raised with as a sister) was in early stage organ failure and caught covid. She ended up on a ventilator and when taken off had no brain activity, her husband chose to let her go. I 100% agree he did the right thing. I knew her better than anyone else and she wouldn't of wanted to linger like that. My parents and i have had to go to extreme lengths to defend her husband's decision to the point i stepped in and lied saying i advised this. I saw her two days before it happened... She was septic. If she had lived she would have had her hands and feet amputated and probably need extensive medical care for the rest of her life. I loved her as a sister but she was also immature and had issues. Her mother, our 2 Aunts, our cousins and out dementia-ridden grandmother have blamed her husband and can't figure out why the children don't want anything to do with them. Because my parents and i have been right there to give support to him... Because of that, i am also on the target for them.

Hurrem gave a nudge (although I'm not sure if she expected execution to be the outcome?) but with Ibrahim's behavior I think that would have come about sooner or later.
