@@lyrawelsh2113 Taking a big step down in competition helps. Whenever Robbie faces an elite fighter who can pressure him he bobs and weaves the whole fight without returning fire. Robbie should only fight legends until he retires; Tony Ferguson, Nate Diaz and Matt Brown are good fights for him.

It was still exciting. They don't have to be throwing wildly and technical like their primes. These guys are old and close to retirement but it doesn't mean it's time. I loved every moment of the fight because they kept throwing. Soft shots or not it was really fun to watch and I think its underapriciated

Might of looked that way, although I doubt it, Lawler knew what Nick was capable of from the first fight, he timed his shots this time and kept cool, something he doesn't really do with other fighters, lawler normally just dominates through his opponent he couldn't do that with Nick.. altho a Loss is a loss, like Nick said no excuses 👌

Kinda what we was expecting it'd been 6 years and he's clearing not in good shape. Despite that he didn't want to disappoint and he did not. They kept giving it their all and it doesn't have to be hard technical strikes. These guys are nearing 40 let's just appreciate these legends and what they've done for the sport. And fair play to them still making it fun to watch. It wasn't the highest level and so many casuals are saying it sucked. I for one thought it was a great fight and I hope to see them both fight at least one more time

@@theo4014 it seems like diaz was not in the shape he needed to be. But I have nothing but respect for him going that far. Both of them infsct. And this fight did not suck. It was really fun and I was on the edge of my seat. Was it the highest level performance? No. Was it crisp striking and power? No. But it didn't need either, just two legends throwing down until their bodies gave in. Sure they're both shells of their former selves but that didn't matter because they were still hitting each other and making it a fun fight
