I am also working on a budget. Like most of us. I am a Hatsan fanatic. I have the bullboss 22 caliber also the bt65 elite 25 caliber. And dollar for pound They are great. I will put my bt65 25 cal against anybody including my bullboss. Not worried!!! Went out to the range two days ago with a friend of mine. He told me with his 22 rifle Centerfire arm he would beat me at 100 yards. $200 later. He had to hand me his rifle also. He lost!!! I do own many other air rifles. I love my Hatsan's. They are great rifles. Affordable. The barrels are great and with a tune-up and a regulator. Need I say more??? I have been looking at the Air Max for a while now. But I am looking at maybe getting the new 30 cal Wildcat. Maybe a little while longer. Don't want to piss off the lady. Lol. I cannot wait to see what you going to do with your Air Max. Stay blessed my friend.👍✌🇺🇸 oh I cannot wait. You might change my mind.

I know I'm a little late at the party. I converted my Bullboss air supply to a bottle one. My home made Z-Block has a build in regulator at the top connector (where the smaller air tube connects) that is adjustable from the outside. I shortened the small air tube To fit between the Z-Block and the air valve, and it now acts as a 85CC Plenum. After some porting and tweaks,my .25 Bullboss is now throwing 35 gn. slugs at 960 fps, for a total of 71.5 ft/lb. I get about 132 regulated full power shots out of a 450CC/300 bar bottle and I don't have the patience to see how many shots I would get from a lower power setting. AT44 is very adaptive.

19:38 you could add a regulated carbon fiber bottle, with a fixed output but 4500psi fill pressure. Great video by the way! I can't decide between the Flashpup and the Airmax. Both need regulator and better baffles.

Airgunners Edge... i just received my new Airmax the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. I’ve been shooting my brand new Airmax for 5 days straight and want to love it. 3 days ago, I noticed the pressure dropped from 125 bar down to zero overnight. I don’t hear any leaks. While shooting, I still don’t notice any sounds of leaking. I called the seller, Pyramyd Air, and the technician stated the hammer could be sitting too hard or that I had too little pressure in it or maybe something got lodged while filling it directly from my air compressor. The tech suggested I try pressurizing it to 150 bar and see how it goes. The following morning, it was back to zero. The tech did offer RMA for an exchange or refund. I decided to contact Hatsan USA through their Facebook page and the reply was to try to take off the stock and turn the gauge a half turn. The assumption was that the leak could be the gauge. I did tighten today but it tightened pretty much at a quarter turn. I didn’t want to crank it any harder. Shot four mags through it and seemed to be pretty good. I filled it to about 180 bar and in a couple of hours, it was down to 160 bar. I guess that didn’t work. I sent another FB message to Hatsan USA and they said my best bet was to go through their customer service process to RMA it to them and they would send me a label. Any thoughts on the possible cause for the leak in a brand new Airmax? Also I decided to lube the trigger linkage since it looked a little dry with silicone lube. Now the trigger’s second stage pull goes all the way until I get it to the back of the trigger housing before the hammer fires. Any thoughts on that second issue?

Well Unfortunately anything you do to the gun can void the warranty, here is my other video .. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bcunn9pjud-1Z5s.html

AIRGUNNERS EDGE , I appreciate it. I figured out the trigger issue. There is a little play when you reinstall the receiver into the stock. I pushed it forward and that cleared the trigger issue. The trigger was hitting the rear trigger guard making it hard to break. All good there. As for the gauge, I tightened it down another quarter turn and so far, the leak slowed so I think that was the source. Sounds like the associate from the Hatsan USA FB page was correct. By the way, I’m so glad there is someone out the that covers the Airmax in so much detail way beyond just advertising kinda reviews! Keep up the good work!

Good to hear!!! Just check the pressure in the morning after refilling tonite, air leaks suck !!!

More great news. 38 hours later, PSI still at 140 bar! Woohoo! That half turn of the gauge did remedy my soundless leak. So glad!!!

Good videos. Right now I can afford a Flash or refurb pup but my concern with getting into pcp is something breaking & not being able to repair it myself. They are great looking guns though.

Just add a regulator to the bottle and then you would have a huge plantum in the air tube setup of regulated air

I really love your videos! Specially bc there's virtually no information on those beautiful Hatsan bullpups. I can't decide between the Flashpup, bullboss or Airmax. Which one would you recommend? I basically use them for pest control and pigeon hunting. TIA!

I think the video you may be talking about is Americanairgunhunter, he had three Hatsan rifles out shooting iguanas, the Bullboss, Flashpup, and Air max, that's what came to mind when you mentioned it.

Awsome vidio great presintation on your hatsan rifles , I have the bullboss 25cal and I have that Air Max 22 cal got in February let me tell you it's has some power and a unbelievable shot count and very accurate I found It loves 18,39 JSB and the HN terminators 16 ,39 gr , I had to lower the power to get better accuracy , but I am going to make mine a slug gun , I allready shot 600 hundred rounds out of her no flaws at all I put a Discovery scope on her , I bought it for major target shooting and long distance pest control I was poping crow's at 60 yards out to 100 yards , can't wait to see your next vidio , I am thinking about putting a regulator on her when I make it a slug gun .

Why dont you get a carbon fiber 4500 psi bottle and regulate the bottle with a altaros regulator to like 150-175 bar. With a 90 cc plenum you will have plenty of power and shots . Just a thought

Hi, I need some help/info. I got Hatsan Airmax in Europe, its limited to 17J from original 57J to make it legal without registering it. I want to register it and get it back to its initial power. Now its performance it simply pathetic and unacceptable. I would like to find out what it takes to bring this airgun back to full power. Is it its regulator that needs to be adjusted, is it something with the valve or both. Could you help here, many thanks.
@dutchsailor6620 Жыл бұрын
Replace the valve stem and the transfer port, that should get you going in the right direction.
