After very little use, I needed a part for mine. I tried for almost 2 months to contact Hatsan USA to either buy the part or find out where I might find it. I got absolutely no response from them, so my compressor is now a boat anchor. I bought the new Air Venturi compressor, and it is fabulous. Excellent in every way. Well engineered, built like a tank, very easy to use, and very fast fills on all my airguns. I have one Hatsan rifle, and I hope I never need a part for it. I will never again buy any Hatsan product since they have no customer support whatsoever.

That's a bummer that it broke down on you but it sounds like you got quite a bit of service out of it. You might be able to take that cylinder and find a shop that rebuilds hydraulic cylinders. It looks very similar to one, but it may be completely different. Take it easy man!

@@AffordableAirguns that looks like permanent magnet motor (no carbon brushes inside); just open the motor and carefully replace the inner/outer bearings($10); like new again. Those high torque motors can be used for many things(gates actuators, e-bikes...); save it or sell it. BTW, watched your vids and did hit like! I hope my "sparky" do half as good as yours...

Get a Yong Heng. When these shoebox compressors started being rebadged by some of the major companies I knew this would be the outcome for many purchasers. They just can’t hold up to daily use. My Yong Heng cost $280 delivered to my door and is still problem free after 3 years.

@@richardgonzales4815 the Aspen Seneca has a VERY bad track record of the on board pump failing or just plain breaking. Make sure to read those reviews on it. That's probably why nobody has recreated that type of on board pump again.

You can buy the same compressor from Aliexpress for around $200 but if it fails on you,good luck chasing the warranty now you can buy the Hatsan version on Amazon for $300 but no AC 110v converter,if it fails,better chance of getting it fixed/replaced under warranty

I've been using a Yong Heng compressor for nearly 3 years with no issues,maybe because I'm just filling rifles direct and not a scuba type tank which probably puts a higher load on compressor which in turn probably shorten life span there's a lot more alternatives around now than they were 3 years ago,so if my Yong Heng lets go,not sure which compressor I would choose and do I choose a cheaper Aliexpress or buy from a U.S store with a better returns/warranty available.

Notice your corroded areas are on the exterior of the compressor interior parts that are exposed to the outside atmosphere. Could it possibly be that the OEM engineering to Cool the unit was exactly what it needed, already? By trying to make it much cooler with that huge extra added fan modification, could the generated heat + the lower cooling have caused excessive sweating on the inside parts exterior surfaces? If you shut the fan off too early, before the parts have been cooled off by the air flowing across those exterior surfaces, the still warm parts will sweat and cause breakdown? Those 2 boxed units, the compressor and inverter were never meant to be joined like that, even though you see the Nomad had a version with the inverter inside the case. I wonder if having these separated is better.

@@AffordableAirguns even though it’s now dead which is a shame really there should be parts available for it from the manufacturer but even looking at it in the sense that buying a dive bottle and filling it at the local dive shop then the cost of having it all tested which we in the uk have to do otherwise they’ll refuse to fill it they’ve probably equalled out… shame it’s gonna end up in the skip for lack of parts…,

bro mine just broke tonight,, the compressor was making funny noises me and my brother took it apart and the roller bearing was all pitted on the surface , tons of metal fragments everywhere. the two spacers were on top of each other and not between the bearing so i called them out in an email asking if thats how they installed it because i suspect it was installed incorrectly.. needless to say the bearing is toast and it bent the bolt after it walked off the crank. i am not sure yet if it caused more damage i hope to get more use from it

I was frustrated enough in the past with a couple experiences I had with them, I refused to buy a lot of their products going forward. Can someone tell me where the F the inline fuse is located? The manual tells you to replace the inline fuse but fails to mention at all where the inline fuse is? Thanks in advance.
@AffordableAirguns
@AffordableAirguns Жыл бұрын
I heard from many guys who own this compressor many stories about that! Some compressor from hatsan came with a small fuse box after the switch wiring output,,the main power switch,..other compressor came with a fuse button , pretty much has a reset button.. and other compressor like mine who came with any kinda fuse,, but here is the thing, some of this power buttons work has a fuse, in case of a short circuit they burn. And you need to replace the button,, to know if your button still good, you need to jumper the cables on the button, if the compressor fire up, that way you know is the button burn, if not,, track those cables to the motor. Cause is gonna be from the button to the motor. Hope this help 🙏
@sfsdbincali

@@AffordableAirguns Thank you so much for the rapid response to attempt to help me in my time of crisis. So what I found out after dissassembling was 1) there was no inline fuse to be found whatsoever. And if there was, I might still have had a functioning compressor. 2) Which is what I I believe to be the cause of the failure, a nut that was connected to the negative terminal backed out, which in turn made the power wire burn and also slightly burned was what I would call or describe as part of the switchboard connected to the rear part of the negative and positive terminals. So in short, I think I fried the switchboard due to the bolt rattling lose from the terminals. At that point I thought of repairing and all that but instead hauled it and all it's pieces to the nearest trash can. My reasoning is that I feel like I'd rather have a more dependable product when it comes to all of that heat and pressure. And the quality of that switchboard, battery terminals and so on, seemed suspect for failure at best. Thanks again. You are appreciated.
