There is a reason Hatteras is still going after 60 years. This boat is a masterclass of design and a lot of boat builders should have a long hard look. Wonder why 1970 and 80's Hats are still desirable, well here you go.

Beautiful Yatch made in USA 🇺🇸. Can’t get any better. I would like to see in the future design much bigger windows for the rooms and state room. Master peace Yatch permanent.

Yes,Hatteras is a very fine design.The engines aren't off to the sides in the newer models.I keep thinking,if I ever end up with a live aboard it would be a toss up between a Nordhavn,Bering or a HATTERAS.Outta curiosity.what is the fuel consumption at 10 knots?

Depends on your cruising speed. Cruising at 10 knots you can travel over 1000 NM, at 20 knots it’s over 400 NM.

This would be the last year for this model though, correct? Hatteras ended their motor yacht Panacera M series in 2021?

They did one more 75 after this one. It might have been a 2022 model year, finished in 21’. They delivered a couple more 105’s around that time and I’ve heard rumors that they’re might be some new yacht designs in a few years. We’ll see, they really are great boats!

Can you tell me why must I get a Hatteras instead of a Horizon yacht The difference in Price point is what?

Horizon is also a great boat, but there are some differences. One is speed, most Hatteras yachts have a cruising speed around 23-24 knots, where a horizon is going to cruise in the 17-18 knot range and top out around 23 knots. Price is another difference. Hatteras is built in the US and that is going to cost more, so generally Hatteras is about 10-15% more than a similar sized yacht. There are more than a few other differences, I'd be happy to discuss. You can call me anytime.

It was $6.6M, but it sold a few months back. There are a couple others on the market that are under $5M

Yikes - I heard that and thought > gulp. Then again, no worries if you've got the cash for this beauty. She rides beautifully! It's very 'male' in terms of look, color(s), style. I'd have to do some magic to make this 'warmer' :) But I'd sure have fun doing it! :)

@@resoluteyachting3286 my point wasn’t about performance but simply the amount of money it takes to run something of this size. I can’t imagine how much it costs to run one of those mega yachts over 150 LOA.

150’ with a crew of 8. Probably in the ballpark of about $1.7m per year for everything.
