Me, too. I've been trying to collect high-grade copies of the first 20 issues for about 20 years. Unfortunately, they've always been fairly expensive.

Captain Marvel Jr. deserved its own video and backstory - so consider picking up more of them and showing again someday.

Howdy Bill! Love that period of Hulk when Herb Trimpe was drawing it. The very first cover you showed just might have been the very first Hulk issue I read as a kid. Not 100% sure but I've always loved that cover for some reason. It is still my favorite to this day and, I think, most representative of the classic Hulk in my book.

Howdy sly! Hulk is one of my faves and I'm trying to collect the second silver age iteration. I'd love to have the original 1 - 6, but I don't suspect I'll ever have the funds for that. Issue 120 is a fantastic starting point to reading as a little one.

I Hulk smashed the like for ya Bill Bixby... I mean Miller. 119 is my birthday book so always cool to see that one. I am never sure if Herb's name is meant to be said as to rhyme with 'shrimp' or 'skimpy'! I have heard both ways. A small but mighty Hulk haul for sure

😎 As a Hulkaholic co-hosts Bill and " This Handsome Guy " I can claim real time familiarity with each issue you served. I fanatically feasted on both Tales To Astonish ( which included my other #1 Marvel-us : Namor! Or as I now call him Na' mor ; if I'm asked why I liked the "Aztlantean" I share my reason ) and Trimpe's Green Skin Triumph Title ! Okay , if that seems controversial what I said about the aquatic adventurer I will add a matching one for Jade Jaws's jaunting journal ; it was always surprising to me that with the Incredible One home basing in New Mexico that Stan and Company didn't consider introducing either a Native American or Mexican-American teenager ( male or female) as a "sidekick". ☝🤓 I now offer this " possibility " (cringe easy individuals please remember this is my personal conclusion ) -- Rick Jones has always been biologically bi-racial : his maternal heritage either Southwest Indigenous or Mexican descent. 🤓 Hey , growing up in that environment that's how identified with Rick. Now , ⚡Captain Marvel Jr. He who will always be Elvis connected is , along with Mary (🤗Me) Marvel , undeniably in a class all his own! Raboy , Shaffenberger and Thompson and Binder ( who IMO unquestionably had Superboy material like Bizarro intended for Jr but business legalities changed the circumstances).

Interesting point, Anthony. Yes, Marvel and DC have historically been very East coast-centric in character development and settings. They branched out to California and the southwest a bit during the the bronze age, but it seems the types of characters didn't change as much as the locations.
