We recently had the privilege of hauling the priceless RR Round Door to Vegas and back for the Peterson Museum. What a beauty and what a great team to work with at the Peterson! Can't wait to do it again!👍

When I saw this Rolls-Royce in Norfolk, Virginia, at the 1957 Jamestown Naval Exposition, it was painted gold.

Damn... It's an early batmobile 😁😁 The black finish, the "fin" and everything else... That's totally what Batman would have used in his early days ( I know it was in 1939 but whatever... ) plus a few modifications... Gorgeous car... I'm jealous...

Amazing! I saw this car in the flesh several years ago at the Chicago Auto Show, so big I couldn't even get a good picture of it on my phone at the time, it wouldn't all fit in one clear shot lol. Cool to see it in motion and hear what it sounds like!

This is NOT a 1925 Phantom I The chassis is 1925 with a 1934 Belgium body.

Agreed, when I was a young boy, you knew what a car was because of a unique profile, chrome accents or taillights. Today every vehicle on the road has the same pointed nose and weird plastic look inside. Every single one looks like a toy. No imagination at all in these automotive design departments.

Mechanics Illustrated' and 'Popular Mechanics' were eagerly awaited...and the cool 'tests' in identifying to which car a taillight belonged. The trims also identified what engine was under the hood and what transmission was behind it.@@ATLcentury334

Just stop oil fanatics would be so beside themselves seeing and smelling the fumes, they’d be squirting their super glue in all the wrong places 😂 This astonishing car came to my notice a couple of years ago. Perhaps totally impractical on today’s pothole crater strewn and speed humped roads, but what a stunner.

I've listened to allot of commentary on this car. It's part of the Peterson collection. The biggest drawback is weight. So much so that with it's underpowered six cylinder engine, it's lucky to make 40mph.

By the looks of all the blue smoke coming out of the back of it, I would say it’s due for a ring job minimum. Maybe the whole engine redone.

We hauled it back to the Peterson after a few days. It's one of their crown jewels and lives at the museum full time. If you get a chance, go check them out!
