Haunted animatronics is of course the bread and butter of FNaF, but I love that this fangame directly integrates hauntings and possession into its mechanics instead of it just being the reason why the animatronics are attacking you

We never get FNAF fan games like this anymore. Looks great, has an interesting world, new and innovative gameplay that expands on the original but remains its own identity, all of that has been missing lately except for a rare few, so this is amazing to see. The game is well made and I'm glad despite the drama that happened they were able to get it out

The lights flickering are pretty clear, the entire camera goes black, it's not the lights in the room that flicker, it's the camera. And keep in mind that the handprints stay there when the animatronic leaves. Actually, I'm pretty sure they only appear when the animatronic enters and leaves the room. They also introduce new mechanics, like your cameras moving alone when the ghost is in the room or the cameras just not working, and you have to check which animatronics you can see so you know those aren't haunted. It's also important to understand that you can only have one mechanic each round, if you see a handprint there will only be handprints that night. Once you understand all of this it's pretty easy.

See here's the thing: The flickering you're picking up on ISN'T the lights. That's the camera feed trying to render everything.

It may be a bit obvious but Paul Bear seems to be a play on the term Pallbearer. This is a person who assists in carrying the casket of the deceased from the funerary home to the gravesite so it is fitting for a Charon type character, leading the protagonist while in limbo. It also makes me feel this is taking place within the DNAF universe where these characters would be commonly known but within the mind or supernatural realm. Paul Bear would thus not be an actual Fazbear character but a creation if the protagonist mind/assimilated form taken by death or another entity. Since the rules of the FNAF universe clearly allow certain supernatural elements like Lichism, possession, etc., an extended universe exploring the world history and other related but indirect situations would be novel! Not everything has to be set up in a FNAF location. It can still have ties to the events of FNAF in ways but reach out beyond and introduce some new elements. I can't believe William Afton wad the first to happen across the concept of artificially extending one's own life or the children were the first to resurrect in possed objects by the rules of this world. Exploring other examples of this or situations that occurred as an infirect result of Aftons meddling with these forces could expand both the lore and game play variety without affecting the main series games for posterity. I'm excited how this one goes and if it could fit into one of these expanders.

You know it’s really sad and amazing to know that these fan games have so much more than the original FNAF games made by Scott Cawthon Games! Don’t get me wrong! I still and will always love the originals for life but the fact that fans make all of these different games with so much quality, detail and not to mention lore for the FNAF universe even if it’s canon or non-canon. The more fan games that are made than the more scarier and loved the FNAF universe can be or expand into! 😊

Tip: Don't forgot to call in an animatronic during your downtime. The game gives you a few seconds before the ghost jumps into an animatronic (that includes the very start of each level too). So when you locate the correct haunted animatronic, you have a chance to call one in before another one gets possessed. As the levels get harder, it's best to keep their stability high (instead of average) just in case you have to make multiple guesses. Because when the animatronics runs out of stability... well you've seen what happens

I honestly don't know if much is going to happen with JR's currently, since the creator was involved in a lot of bad drama regarding several well-known fangame creators

One thing I noticed, is that the hand prints are left by animatronics which have left the room you’re currently in. So you have to keep an eye out for who’s leaves the room when a hand print pops up. Laos the weird movement referred to in night three, is really just the camera moving without you interacting with it. If the camera moves randomly, the ghost is in that room at that moment. hopefully this helps

I can’t get over how well the animatronics look in this fangame. Genuinely terrifying. Considering the gameplay itself though, yeah, I agree in that it’s confusing and takes a while to understand, but let’s be real: that was the case for EVERY official FNAF game back in the day.

Another person I watched play this got the hints down pretty well, while the flickering is very hard to differentiate the handprints are caused when an animatronic leaves a room (if the one in question is haunted) and a lot of camera rotation is needed to see them. Not trying to be mean or saying your doing anything wrong just figured I’d leave a small tip cause I’d love to see you continue

Alr watched the vid and have ideas, will add this onto the next episode too; 1; Maybe the limbo state is a reference to the theory of fnaf 4 being a coma state, and the rlly old one where you were the kid in every game but each game was a fantasy, or maybe when you worked there and got put into a coma the bedroom/fnaf 4 was a distorted memory 2; the reason why the limbo state has a 8byt retro style, is because its supposed to since its years prior. Maybe ( like the rest of games ) takes place in the 1980's or so. Gives it more of a reference to the first bullet of the limbo being a coma state 3; May be obvious, but the white dots may reference the haunted one. For the second tape, it looked like Freddy was aware and scared of what they were building, but Bonnie probably saw it as his old bud getting worked up. Meanwhile, when Bonnie gets haunted, Freddy seems to have a small breakdown over it, via looking at a picture frame.

I remember when FNaF first came out. I am a fan of the game Double Switch, and to a much lesser extent, night trap, so when FNaF came out and people started making fan games, I was looking forward to all the games of using a security system to combat the monsters. Sadly, people have much less imagination than I thought, and instead we got a huge number of games just aping FNaF in its entirety. “Wait till the enemy shows up and hide/close the door.” It makes me so happy when a game bucks the trend.

A more exact definition of the mechanics: Anyway it works by choosing 1 random haunting event (flickering, smudges, camera shakiing like crazy and the future ones) and then a random animantronic. That event will happen on the room the haunted animantronic is but some events like cameras being shaken can take a bit to happen so you have wacth the animantronic for a decent amount of time. Also just to add this BB obly can attack by messing whit his stability meter and thebonly way to find the puppet is her music if you hear her music in a room she is there If tou have anymore questions you can ask

After beating max mode Custom Night, the main game looks... strange. Like, you can basically speedrun it and never use repair system at all, there is no need for this mechanic. The 6th night is amazing though

Under foxys ears when you get jumpscared and it says that "Foxy was Haunted", you can see a figures hands under his ears as if something was moving him around. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but wanted to write this up. Cool feature though!

I think I prefer this to Security Breach. It's closer to the original formula while still being creative in its own way, also the artstyle is amazing and so are the drawings of the animatronics when they jumpscare you.

Feels like a entirely different game than fnaf to be honest, and with the haunted animatronic finding thing to me reminds me of fnaf plus

Has anyone else seen the grass in the limbo world at 10:07 appear and desappear or is it just me?

I don't know if it'll be patched by the time you see this, but I saw Dawko's video today, and he managed a gameplay strat. Where he called the marionette back for repairs, and since it was in the back room, it didn't get haunted, which meant it could only go into Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, or BB. As you noticed, if the number is glitching out, it's obvious if it's in BB. This means if you can find a camera state where only one animatronic is, and it's flicking the lights, or you can't find it on the cameras, that might be the haunted one. I don't know if that's a sound system, having not played it myself. I don't know if that helps, but having one less animatronic to worry about in a set of random selections might make things easier on nights four and five if you give it a shot.

What I know is this if our character can sense paranormal activity then being in the Void make sense but also having the ability to tell who's haunted is more of his specialty. The light only flicker more when the Animatronic moves away from the room (Hints being that the energy left by the ghost is there) With the hand print being a symbol of the ghost being there now or previously there when controlling the animatronic. Think of it using its spiritual powers as a puppet master if left to long in a single room the energy left behind makes certain things unstable. (Hope this helps.)

Easily the coolest fangame I've seen so far. Like, I often have nightmares where I have to hide or defend myself from animatronics (The usual candidates being Springtrap, Ballora and the FNAF 1 animatronics excluding Golden Freddy.) If THESE were the animatronics hunting me down in my nightmares, that would make it SO MUCH COOLER. Like I'm absolutely terrified of these designs but I also greatly appreciate them from an artist's perspective, ya know?? They simultaneously look horrifying but also like they'd give good hugs, love that in character design 😊💓 Gushing aside, another fantastic video from our boy and hopefully the story/endings explained will be soon to follow! Truth be told, I actually think the "X story explained" videos are my absolute favourite to put on in the background while I doodle or play around on my computer ❤️
