Restless spirits are rumored to roam the sprawling tunnel system under Black Mountain. The old subterranean crypts have long been subject to trespassers. Many who enter are never heard from again. Some claim that the distant echo of voices can be heard, beckoning unwary travelers.

Sometimes it's the simple things that can scare us most. Nothing has to actually reach out from the darkness and grab us, it's just the apprehension of what we fear may be in what we can't see into that can keep our fear at its highest. Very wonderful ambience for this month of spooks!

With age, I undestood that it's not the darkness that I fear, but those a little bit darker shapes that move in it. Jokes of my brain, I know it, but still.

I love soundscapes that involve tombs, crypts or anything involving a resting place for the dead, because they’re meant to be eternally peaceful. Even this one, although it has its moments of rising, horrifying sound, it’s still calming.

European cathedrals and churches have the best crypts. The smell of old stone is mysterious and calming. It's like smelling TIME. But speaking of churches, a Praying Ambience video would be awesome. Like the inside of a gothic church with a cross and altar with candles. Stained glass... Churches are so peaceful and calming.

There are days like today where I feel like traveling somewhere else in my head... A thousand thanks for all the peaceful nights of sleep I've had because of your channel. Even this eerie sounding one is so appreciated by me. Thank you, for being a legend! Ps, suggestion from a fan! A snowy blizzard, icey wind through an abandoned mine shaft kind of sounding ambience is something I haven't really found. But specifically eerie, so many snow videos are Christmas themed or just aren't implying a barren, desolate place deep in the mountains, or are just sounds of snow through the trees. Ice caves? Hell yeah. We need that, Guildmaster!

This reminds me of Fountains Abbey in England, a ruined monastery that I have a strange feeling of connection to. It makes me sad to see it in trying, and I wonder if there are any ghosts of monks there roaming the stony halls

Whoa! 😮 This is so Awesome! Gives me goosebumps in a good way. Love the contrast with candles 🕯 and the darkness. So cool the shadows, the echoing sounds and the wind 🌬. Plus, this reminds me of the Crypt in GOT. 🐺 House Stark - ”Tell them, winter is coming ❄️…” House Stark of Winterfell is a Great House of Westeros and the royal house of the Kingdom of the North. If you ever need another idea; may I suggest Church-like ambience? Somewhere where people come to visit their local priest, silently (or not so silently) pray to their god, or come think about their loved ones… or just their life, in general.

These dark ambiences are my favorite. The best part of rpg's is adventuring, and poking your nose into the forbidden dark places yields high risk and high rewards.
