Phrae is certainly an interesting town and province. Check out the Seri Thai museum in town and learn more about the thai resistance during the second world war, and also the second world war history of Thailand. Also check out all the old wooden houses, (teak wood houses) in the town. The teak trade was significant in Phrae and Lampang area around 1900.

That leaning buddha temple in Phrae is amazing. I was there the other day too, and I also noticed the temple front doors seemed to be closed. But did you check the other road to the right, if you go up there you’ll get to the heart of the temple and see the most amazing insides of it, including the golden spiked pagodas

You Did Such a wonderful job capturing this province. My wife is from there and i lived there teaching school for a while. This really made me homesick for Phrae. The golden rock temple was under construction when I visited it last. They have done a remarkable job. Thank you again for sharing this.

Thank you for another beautiful video Paddy. I needed to do some research because I was told that most of the yellow flags around temples are buddist flags and they have a circular shape in the middle, however, if they have a crown type image, then they represent royalty. I know that the blue flags are always related to royalty :)

Epic journey...large picture. It can’t be easy to keep up a real or fabricated interest in just one more province. As such, what an incredibly strong nomadic gene you have Paddy. On a scale from 1 to 20, your nomadic gene is a 27 and mine is a three (depending on my biorhythm). I enjoy your enthusiasm and love for life and for living. This is something you give to us.
