I worked environmental overnight at a hospital. I was in Angio cleaning up. I was nearly finished, just mopping my way out down the hallway. Mind you, I'm the only person there. Down the hall, in an area I had just finished, I saw an elderly woman. She had the hospital gown on, the little non slip footies, and her identification bracelet on. I could see her plain as day. Now I had only been working there just shy of 6 weeks, and I figured if she falls and gets hurt it's my ass. So I called down to her "Mame. Do you need anything? Stay right there and I'll come and get you." She was looking right at me. She turned, and did that kinda elderly shuffle step into one of the rooms. I watched her go in it. So I raced down there still thinking omg if she falls after I've just mopped I'm dead. I get to Angio room 2, the one she went in, and she's not there. No one was. So I'm panicking thinking they left and elderly patient here, forgot about her, and it's gonna be my head on the chopping block. So I rush all around Angioplasty looking for this women, knowing in the back of my head I'm the only one there. Didn't find her or anyone else, so I paged my supervisor about it. She came down looked around as well, and said don't worry about it. About a week later my supervisor told me on that day, about 4 and a half hours earlier a 83 year old woman had passed in Angio. Now I wasn't thinking ghost or was scared until she told me that. I was worried about a patient falling and I getting into trouble over it. Freaks me the hell out to this day and that was 18 years ago.

I know exactly how it is! I work for a memory care facility from 2pm - 1030pm and there are times I pull a double shift! I have plenty of ghost stories to tell

I was a caregiver at an Alzheimer facility and I never saw ghosts. The 3rd shift however did and actually filmed it. So many people pass in those places it isn't surprising spirits roam. 😊
