Oh I remember this storyline: This is the sequel to that Romantic Hotel/ Spa we played months ago where the guy planned on proposing to his girlfriend but they had their youth sucked out of them by nurses that reminded me of the Roanoke House... The Marriage question: We had 20 people (I have a large family), that included my immediate family (I had 3 brothers who lived at home) his immediate family, the pastor/organist, my friend of 20+ years, and one of my 3 sisters. My mom made food and cupcakes (we put DnD minis on them for us, Bard/Cleric (I'm the Bard), and D20s on the rest of them.) And I wore a purple lace dress I got from a regular shop. Super lowkey, and we enjoyed it. :)

You may want to try the hidden object game series called Women's Murder Club. There are 3 games in the series, and two were designed by Jane Jensen (of Gabriel Knight fame). They are about a group of female detectives. The art style and puzzle styles are quite different from the usual casual games. They were made over 10 years ago but are still enjoyable.

the hay abbot gag from men in tights is actually a reference to abbot and costello which was a comedy duo. its a great comedy duo and is a great watch for good wholesome funnies

Gab, you probably would have loved the I Spy books my sister and I had as kids; I'm pretty sure games like this evolved from those books. Every two-page spread was an artful, chaotic arrangement of items and a poem along the bottom told you what to look for. When you got to the end, there was a list of 'secret' items, one for each page that were much better hidden, to go back and find. They were works of art; the lighting used in each shot is still perfectly vivid in my mind even twenty five years later. I've seen a version more recently called Spot What, but the photography was less than stellar and it was very...dumbed down, for lack of a better term. I know they're aimed at children, but it bothers me when people just assume that they should make things easier for children. They're not going to learn much that way. Edit: Also, if you love Mel Brooks movies, Dracula Dead and Loving It! It has Amy Yasbeck from Men In Tights and Leslie Nielsen playing Dracula, it's great fun. Blazing Saddles is my first memory of a movie breaking the fourth wall...

Wow!! 20 chapters completed!! Just amazing!! But I have to say my favorite part was watching Gab get so excited when she found and ordered those candy hearts from when she was a kid!! Then she said she had to buy 3 bags and because they were so sweet, she would buy some treat bags and give them out to friends so they could try them. Since I found Gab's channel, I have watched a lot of her videos. The coolest thing about that is I have gotten to see her change and grow. I was watching a video from around 6 or 7 years ago and during the video Gab was eating a Reese's peanut butter cup and then a Twinkie!! It cracked me up because she tries to eat so healthy now!! There's a shoe print on the table in the hotel lobby. Also there's a game called Mystery Masterpiece the Moonstone that you might like you are investigating to find a stolen moonstone and you get to interview other characters to get alibis and stuff like that

I think it would be super cool to get married during an eclipse! Especially a full one. They don't happen often. Would definitely make it memorable. In real life though, I agree, I'm not a huge ceremony person. I would love to have a smallish beach wedding/handfasting with only my closest friends there and like, the two members of my family I can stand anymore. My sister has been married three times and she just did the paperwork each time (although with her current husband, they had a very teensy ceremony at the dock by the town lake, which was very nice.)

As for her wedding question, I feel like a lot of people went with the route of "signing the papers and do nothing" but mainly because of COVID. Then once restrictions were lifted, they had a party to celebrate it with their friends and family rather than a full ceremony and reception like with traditional weddings. It is up to the couples but that is a trend I have noticed in the past couple months.

I eloped to the Rocky Mountains and it was just me and my husband at the city office. No ceremony. Just papers. It was the best.

I also had a small wedding. My parents attended via Skype. My inlaws were my best man and woman and my husband brother and sister were close enough to attend. I was still stressed out tho and it wasn't even big. We had it in our house and I procrastinated cleaning it until right before so that's why I stressed. Lol 😂 I couldn't imagine having a big one. I like watching Charlotte dobry read stories about bridezillas and weddings gone wrong and it makes me feel better about my smol wedding. I have no regrets. If I want a bigger one we can just renew our vows. I'd rather make it simple. Also not big on a 19k ring either. I'd lose it or get mugged.
