This skit is base on (former) real show, i used to watch that stuff back in the day. The real show was called "Most Haunted" www.imdb.com/title/tt0362355/ Unfortunately Derek Acorah (the medium in real life) died in Jan 2020 ..

This is actually a spoof of a real British paranormal investigation tv show. I can’t recall the name, but there’s a tall, grey haired “psychic” and a short and compulsively terrified blonde who insists on wearing giant heels to every cramped and staircase-filled location then proceeds to try to run. Good stuff.

@@drowningincats3921I'm 3 years late but that show was "Most Haunted" and the guy Hugh was parodying was Derek Acorah. I know because I used to rent a room off a guy who watched that show religiously with a group of friends who I later learned formed their own ghost hunting group. Also there was one hilarious moment where Derek while communicating with the dead at an old theatre randomly shouted "MARY LOVES DICK" and I was the only person giggling

Fart jokes are not juvenile. If you can't laugh at the noise a fart makes (particularly at the moment it happens in this sketch) then you are either dead inside or a woman
